Well run hotel, excellant staff and services. Bed was perfect, TV was full service, our room had nice views. Good parking garage. They have what must be best restaurant in town, liver, kidneys, plus all standard fare. Wine sampling. Restaurant service was top top with class!

The location couldn't have been more convenient and fun. The hotel faces the iconic "corner" in Rothenburg that everyone photographs, but it didn't cause any issues getting in or out of the hotel or cause any extra street noise. The hotel itself is quaint and a little worn around the edges, but that only adds to the charm. It was comfortable and offered all that guests need. The hotel has begun upgrading the rooms to make them more modern, but I'd still opt for the room with Bavarian charm even if the shower might be smaller. The fun of staying at the hotel was the feeling that you were in Bavaria and not a chain hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the official restaurant provided a very nice menu. I'd book this hotel again.
