    The reception and F&B staff were all very polite. It's because of these friendly and hospitable peoplewe didn't leave the hotel soon as we entered the room. The dirtiest room and bathroom one could imagine. When housekeeping was called and shown filthy stains in the hand wash basin, the boy started rubbing the muck with his fingers ! No gloves, no brush, no soap !! Never ever seen such a cleaning method - I dressed pointing out the toilet stains to him and askedhom to leave. Closed my eyes each time I could do so while using the toilet. Shower was impossible - both my husband and I needed a warm shower after our long flight BUT despite a decent quality bathroom fittings - they had been fitted so badly. The mixer wouldn't mix water - either to scales your skin or to freeze you. Fan in the room never been cleaned - to sleep under it was very disturbing. Linen was not clean or crisp. Thankfully I was carrying a towel as the hotel towels were not worth touching. I had to use one (against my wish) as shower mat - gosh they don't even provide a footmat. How is one expected to walk around with wet feet after a shower ( which was attempted but abandoned due to water issues). The fish n chips was a thick batter , with no fish fillet inside. There was a kind of a paste - we just couldn't figure out what was done. The Chef was kind enough to ask us to show him a picture of fish and chips and was told what he had done was ok - he just had to ask the F&B Cost controller to buy fish fillets for making the dish. He didn't charge us for the dish - and that was the best the poor man could do. But that is not we were after - we were after a decent paid meal . It is not the Chef's fault if he is not provided dish fillets that can be fried. Housekeeping never answers the phone

    The floor titles were cracked, furniture was broken, no current in the sockets and the lift side rails were broke.
