    We loved everything about our stay. Breakfast was agreat start to the day.

    We stayed at the Lancemore for a friends 40th. We booked a Saturday night. We booked the basic room and the room was fine. The bed was very comfortable. But the room was tired, lots of wear and tear, so they are due for a refresh. Our party group spent some time in the pool area and the pool was quite slimy on the steps and tiles. Definitely needs some cleaning. We then had dinner in the Joseph's restaurant which is quite and expensive restaurant so we had high expectations. The service was really slow and inattentive. They needed prompting and following up. The mains were all good, but the sides were terrible. No flavour. We ordered 3 desserts to share and the pavlova was inedible - the fruit was rock hard. We then had the buffet breakfast which was also held withn the Joseph's restaurant. The buffet was also quite disappointing. The bacon was hard and inedible. So would not recommend the breakfast. The mansion next door is incredible! Definitely visit there and enjoy the grounds.
