I was hesitant to book here as the reviews were very poor. I only stayed 2 nights as a solo person. But it was fine. Firstly the receptionist gave me a choice of 2 rooms which I appreciated. I chose the second. Although it was smaller, it was padded(not sure of the word I'm looking for) with wood. This gave the room a sense of stillness and comfort. I felt very cocooned. The bed was really really comfortable. There is a lift in the hotel and a kettle in the room. The bathroom door slides but also pivots...I don't think that is meant to happen. The window in the bathroom doesn't close(its a small window, nobody can see inside!) This means that its fine in the summer..however if it was cold in Turkiye this would be a big problem. The hotel is literally next to the train station and Marmary.I don't mean close by..I mean right next to it so it's very convenient. I didn't exprience the breakfast so I can't speak on it. However the area is very expensive so I went elsewhere to eat. The tram line to take you to the main sights of Istanbul is probably a 3 minute walk. All things considered I'd say it's okay for a single person for a few nights
