    I had an excellent stay at Black Pearl Hotel in Istanbul. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Ayasofya, the Blue Mosque, and other iconic landmarks in the heart of the city. It’s the perfect base for exploring Istanbul’s rich history and culture. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to ensure guests feel comfortable and well cared for. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference during my stay. On top of that, the price is very reasonable for such a prime location and great service. It’s an excellent value for money, especially for travelers looking to stay close to the city’s main attractions without breaking the bank. I highly recommend Black Pearl Hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul—it’s a fantastic choice for both comfort and convenience!

    Mr Aslan is very warm and welcoming, and on night shift. His boys are nice too! The hotel is located at Gulhane tram station OR Serkeci metro station. You can take the metro from SAW airport to Sirkeci metro. Very easy. Once u alighted from sirkeci metro, walk towards gulhane tram control station (3mins walk), you turn around n u can see the hotel black tulip signboard. Pls ask around, the ppl are very friendly and helpful. But if you are taking metro from IST airport, ermmmm what a nightmare. Can consider taking a bus (must google) or private airport transfer. My room is big and clean. The toilet is slightly small but bearable as it is clean. Breakfast is great but if u come late, they won’t top up esp the tasty food. So come early for your breakfast. Pls keep your personal stuff away Because the housekeeper can come anytime (came while we were having breakfast) but nothing was missing. I would say the housekeeper is very hardworking and honest! Overall, highly recommended!

    The hotel advertises soundproof rooms. This is not accurate for the family suite rooms. Every 15 minutes, you hear the train going by. 5 times a day from 6AM to 8PM, you hear prayer over the loud speaker. For those who find it difficult to sleep with noise, avoid this hotel.
