Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres – All Inclusive

Food was really tasty; sometimes not the hottest. Shower also never really got hot. So many sloppy jobs done on finishing work. Looking out from balcony, plunge pool or couch window and all you could see were incomplete, drippy paint jobs. I’m not a picky person but it’s just really weird how nice some parts of the resort are and some parts look like a 3-year old cut the tiles and painted the walls. We stayed 4 nights and never had the mini bar refilled. We had to ask multiple times for aromatherapy. Butler was nice but we didn’t ask much of him. Drinks were yummy but weak. Bed was comfortable. Couldn’t hear anyone in hallway. Stairs to upstairs plunge pool are a little scary, especially when damp. Adult pool was perfect and animation team (women) getting people involved were awesome and had the best personalities. Endless amounts of chairs on beautiful beach. Always felt safe alone for sunrise viewing. Variety of buffet food was amazing- I got to try so many Mexican dishes, and they were all delicious. Water circuit at spa was relaxing and worth the money. Staff everywhere were all kind and professional. We paid for “oceanfront” but were really on a corner and blocked by an oceanfront building to our left. Ocean, plunge pool and adult club pool were all a perfect temp in early July. No welcome drink but could diy it in club lounge immediately. Room bathroom had no privacy and no place to change. Beautiful gardens everywhere; shows were decent and entertaining.

We really enjoyed our stay at Majestic Elegance. The resort was beautiful, the room was clean, and the staff was always friendly. We stayed in a swim out suite, and that was easily the best part. Being able to walk right out of our room into the pool was so relaxing and definitely worth it. The swim up bar was a nice touch, and we spent a lot of time just hanging out by the pool. The resort had a great vibe, and everything was easy to get to. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing getaway.

It was a good resort, but we had issues with our private pool upstairs. The lights did not work and it was like that for most of the week . Even though I asked to have it fixed. The butler was very slow getting things done.

I will be back
