🛑 No safety 🛑 No cleanliness 🛑 No support 🛑 No professional staff The villa is in a very remote area, which is okay, but the real problem is that no staff is available after 10 PM, and they don’t answer the phone at all whatever happens, even though they said someone is nearby. One night, someone was trying to open the room door. We were really scared and tried calling and texting the hotel, but no one responded until 6 AM, we stayed up the next two nights till morning. They promised to send CCTV footage, but they never followed up or checked on us. During check-in, we had to drag our bags over 100 meters on the asphalt path, and waited more than an hour because the staff didn’t tell us in advance that there are two villas distant from each other and there was no one in the reception to guide us. The pool was dirty, with mold on the walls. On our second last day, we returned to find many frogs inside the villa and even a frog egg in the pool — it was disgusting. I tried calling again, no one answered, and staff only came the next morning. I couldn’t stay the final night and had to book another hotel at my own expense just to feel safe and clean. This place is not managed properly. I felt disgusted, unsafe, ignored and very disappointed. To be honest, we enjoyed the first 3 nights in the villa and extended my stay but the real face appeared on the 4th day of my stay.

The rice field view is better, because the jungle is visible from the distance and there is road front of the room. Room itself is new and clean. Great bed, nice pool. In the evenings I had issues with bees coming into the room, so I had to take them out. Not a good thing if you have allergies. Also, I agreed to get airport pick up. I was told price is 450k. Which is fine, but then when paying I was charged 545k. Later when I wanted to get breakfast, I was told it is 90k, but then was charged 105k. I really dislike these hidden costs. Just say the final price.

They contacted us pre-trip about renovations at Arvanya and moved us to Unagi Mas Villa, no extra cost, and it was perfect! Beautiful, private, and well-equipped. Excellent staff and communication. Only downside was the oily floor in the room and living area. Otherwise, highly recommend.
