WoodSpring Suites Wesley Chapel-Tampa

we have stayed at this hotel with another couple. As only staying in th area for 1 night we booked one room with 2 queen beds to save some $. Prior to our arrival I called to ask about something and the staff offered to swap our room for two regular rooms instead as their initial guest wanted to extend their stay and we happily accepted the offer. The hotel is clean, staff is friendly and rooms spacious. The only thing that could be improved is that the room had a full kitchen, but absolutely no dishes, pots, glasses/mugs, utensils or silverware...

The rooms and area are perfect, the staff were super kind when we came in and helped us as much as they could. But when we were checking out it was a different group of receptionists who weren’t even attending the desk instead sitting out of sight gossiping, then when one of them finally came up after 15 minutes they were incredibly rude, the staff who checked us in were great

Check-in took an hour!!! standing in the lobby for an hour!!!!! every single person that checked in had an issue for some reason. There was one person working, hockey tournament was in town so the hotel should’ve staffed properly. I got there at eight and the single lady at the front desk Left for 20 minutes to go see what rooms were available when I previously booked this. She came back, gave me a room which was occupied, so I had to go back down and get another room. It’s now 9 PM. She wrote down two different rooms and then gave me a room. When I walked in the trash had not been emptied. The soap on the bathtub was already ripped opened, laying on a towel. Hair all over the sink area. I did not have faith of that cleanliness at all. As much as I wanted to leave the other two nicer hotels were sold out so I was stuck. Never again will I stay there. Since it was dark when I finally got checked in, I had to leave to get something to eat, and there were zero lights in the parking lot. Pitch black outside. Not the best feeling being a solo woman traveler. I had to hit my car lock to make my lights turn on just so I can see where I was going. Worst experience in a hotel.

If you need a quick place to stay or are working in the area I would recommend. If you are visiting for a long period of time look I would consider other options.
