    On 12 July 2026 around 3:34am, I woke up due to strange burning smell. Initially I thought that it could be from the other room or anything that’s not alarming. Plus, there was no fire alarm ringing during that time. But my mom and aunties (we booked two rooms) went outside the room and found that a fire was burning inside the electric room nearby the lift and stairs (our room is at Level 2). I immediately reach out to the nearest fire extinguisher (thank god in Malaysia we have a lot of fire drill and training) and put out the fire before it spread further up. While I put out the fire, guest from other room but same level as us tried to reach out to the reception area but the receptionist was super blur. Super disappointing! By the time the staff came to the incident place, the fire was no longer active. Then, we heard guests from above levels shouting panicky and everyone went down the stairs to get out from the hotel because of the thick smoke. Surprisingly enough, the hotel manager did not came to the hotel immediately to settle the issue and left everyone in fear. Moreover, they did not even call the firemen or any authority body to the hotel to inspect the electric room! Some of the guests immediately checkout from the hotel and some (including us) requested to be compensated because our safety and energy has been jeopardised. After my aunt pressuring them several time, they finally offered us a new room at their other hotel premise next door. My point here is, I know this hotel is popular amongst Malaysians and other muslim guests because of their location is super strategic and they offered halal breakfast, but I don’t want them to encounter the same incident like us in the future! So, to the hotel management team, PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AND CHECK ALL YOUR WIRING AND FUSE!!!!

    Even this hotel look like an old style hotel, it is enough because all we need are there. Facilities, malaysian street, halal food, ben thanh market,all are near to hotel. Tq to staff name STELLA because she really helps us a lot. From check in until checkout and having our breakfast box at airport early in the morning, this staff should be given an appreciation because of her excellent service. Thanks also to the ‘bellboy’ named HERO if im not mistaken , for packing our things at lobby with high quality work! Tq aluna! Because of this excellent staff,we want to stay again there if we come to ho chi minh! Tq Aluna! Tq Stella!! Tq Hero!

    Location is great. Many restaurants around and fruit markets. Easy to find money changers. Staffs inn hotel were helpful. One particular staff is stand out. Her name is Stella. She is helpful and kind.
