Nice place. Close to a convenient transportation spot. For Americans I would compare it to a Hampton Inn, just smaller like most things in a European city.

I got there before 3pm, at around 12:15 or 12:30pm, and the staff very nicely told me that unfortunately there weren't any rooms available. However, I waited only 20 minutes, and the front desk immediately told me a room was ready and I was able to put my stuff down before heading over the the Gamescom convention center.
The room was spacious and clean, enjoyed my stay there

The rooms are very small, but the breakfast is great, and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to Barbarossaplatz train station, and within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores and laundromats.
