    The location of this hotel is unbeatable! The staff very kind and welcoming. Service of the rooms and breakfast were excellent. We truly recommend, it's not high end but for the price and location it's a 9.

    The location is not debatable, you have most of everything in walking distances. There are many things you can do and what I liked the most is the morning swim in outdoor pool and the beach Pilate! What made the 3 stars is the room and room area; the carpet are used not a short period, which you can smell like mildew. The room beddings are not well washed and blankets have stains. A little remodeling and maintenance/deep cleaning may make it better I believe.

    This is just a regular hotel with "resort" added to the name. They do this to add additional daily "resort fees" on top of the room price already paid for, so be forewarned (even more if you are parking a car there). The hotel doesn't let you know until the cancelation request date for the hotel passes. The rooms seemed very antiquated and in need of an update, especially the lack of plugs by the bed. The bed itself was so uncomfortable, springy, and hard. The mattress was like something my grandpa would have been laying on since the 60s. You basically felt every movement the other person made while trying to sleep. The breakfast was the only good thing, kind of. A couple of days, they had hashbrowns or chopped potatoes as the main course...that is definitely not a main breakfast meal, yuck! Overall, I'd go elsewhere next time...maybe a more slightly inland, cheaper, nicer hotel of Oahu.

    I paid for 2 nights for my son, and he was unable to make his flight connection to Honolulu to arrive on the first night of the reservation. He arrived the next day and was charged $53.42 because he was "Checking in late" for a room that was already paid for. Help me make this make sense... He loved the room, and said he enjoyed it, but charging for "late check in" on a pre-paid room. PLEASEEEEE
