Parking for my motorbike was in the railway station multi story car park. It was wet when I got there so the ticket got wet so the exit procedure took half an hour and the floor was so slippy my bike was wheel spinning dangerously. €9 overnight good and lighting good. Entrance and exit to the hotel itself not easy the first time. Once inside, the hotel exceptionally clean. Huge comfy bed and pillows. Room not massive but more than enough room for my and bike gear. Mine overlooked the railway line so a city view may be nicer, with a bigger window. Area around the hotel not the most welcoming but only a short walk into the centre.

Excellent Location, right side is Avignon center train station, left side is the Bus terminal, which goes to Saint Remy, to Pont du Gard,,, which is very easy to takes tours by ourselves. Few minutes walk to Tourist Information office, restaurants, easy to walk around the old town. Very clean rooms, nice staffs, made my stay in Avignon enjoyable.

Firstly we couldn’t get in as the entrance doors were locked…in the afternoon! That tells you a lot about the hotel and the area, that they have to lock the doors! We assumed the pokey small entrance was out of use and went looking for the proper entrance, nope, we were right the first time. Luckily we managed to get in, I say lucky but was anything but, place looked dingy and dark. Receptionist wouldn’t show us the room before we checked in, and booked us in so we couldn’t then cancel. Avoid!

Well located just by the train station. It was fine, since it was cheap, but the room was tiny, the food at breakfast very average, and the room smelled a bit moldy. The staff was super nice and friendly and also efficient.

Dirty outside the front door. Terrible signs directing you to the front door, which Is hidden. The shower water pressure fluctuated when the neighbour flushed the toilet. So you’re in the Shower getting cold blast of water. Breakfast was expensive with low quality food.

The hotel has everything as expected from Ibis. Staff was VERY nice and helpful. The parking is safe in a covered garage adjacent to the hotel. The only thing is the entrance was a bit hard to find because google doesn’t know it. My only complaint is that the property advertised laundry as an amenity but there is no laundry in the building. Otherwise, I would go back.

I think it was a defective card, because when I finally got a second card, on my fourth complaint, that worked fine. The impression I got was that the reception staff couldn’t be bothered. When I arrived and asked if I could leave my bags as my room wasn’t ready, she brought out one label then huffed and puffed when she discovered I wanted to leave 3 items for the day. What is wrong with asking first? When I returned in the evening, it was a different person on reception, so naturally only the suitcase with the label appeared and I had to explain politely 4 times I had two other bags. Re breakfasts, get there early if you want orange juice or croissants. Because there weren’t any left when I arrived at 9.30 on Sunday. And the choice is very limited. The bread also runs out, so you’re left with scraps of baguettes if you aren’t there early c and I couldn’t find good old tap water anywhere. The hotel is in a good spot next to the station if you’re using Avignon as a base to explore, although it’s not currently easy to get into as workmen have put up barriers all round the front of the station area. Overall, could have been much better if staff were a little bit more attentive.

This is a very basic hotel. It was clean but feels old. The surroundings feel unsafe. It is very difficult to access the main door. You have to get into a street elevator to get into the second floor. There is lots of construction now and it may get better when the construction is finished. The staff was helpful and fun to talk to in our limited French.
