    Decent hotel in a residential area away from everything. Thus making it very quiet to stay in. Buffet breakfast available in the morning with lots to eat and drink. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of south asian restaurants at the back of the hotel. Nearest Metro station is Caiazzu . I was stung with a daily €10 city tax by the hotel on checkout. Usually all taxes are included when booking through Agoda, so remember this. August is very quiet in Milan and hence quick and easy to get around on public transport.

    The Doria Grand was great for us. We arrived by train so an easy 10 minute walk for 70+ year olds. The lobby staff are 10/10. Such friendly, helpful and joyous people. The hotel decor is beautifully Italian. Our room was a good size, clean, comfortable, quiet with a fridge, electric jug, complimentary tea and everything worked as it should. We enjoyed our morning breakfast, cold meats, cheeses, salad, breads, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, fruit, tea and coffee and sweet treats It is a few minutes walk to the metro making it incredibly easy to access all the tourist sites. Highly recommend.

    I stayed here with my partner for 3 nights. Hotel location is good, as it’s accessible from Milan Centrale and the Metro Line 2. However, the room itself was okay, not modern at all, especially the shower space which is too narrow, be careful or else you might fell. Few things to note: > Don’t provide free water as mentioned in the booking by agoda. It was paid and about 3€ for a small bottle. > No complimentary Coffee provided in the room. > No slippers, requested later and provided. > Bummer was the TV with satellite channels only and not a smart tv. Which era we are living in. Overall, it was just okay, and doesn’t give a 4 star hotel vibe. Feels like we are back to early 2000s Vibe!
