L'appartement d'Henri - Place Vendôme

Wonderful location close to all the sites. Clean , well equipped characterful apartment full of charm. IYou are a guest in someone’s home which makes it a special experience in Paris. The management has great communication and are so helpful. Our stay ran so very smoothly. We loved it. We recommend .

For some it may feel too personal as the owners possessions and personal items are present. It is someone’s home not a holiday rental .

The location was unbelievable! I really loved that the apartment was homey and had artifacts from Henri! We played his records while we stayed there and had such a wonderful experience!

We are star-struck! We are four women, friends for decades. We decided to revisit Paris, as we had done together 50 years ago. But this time we splashed out to rent the stunning residence of French music superstar Henri Salvador. The location—Place Vendôme—was unbeatable. And the flat itself looked like Henri had just gone out for a walk. Everything from his music to books to photos and mementos was just as he left it. We were staying with history, or at least a beautiful, quirky, iconic piece of it.

We hated to leave!

Unfortunately we were in this apartment during the May heatwave. The listing states that it has air con but this is laughable. It was most uncomfortable and it’s not a cheap apartment. It’s also very cluttered with all the owners personal items including a large library of music of the deceased Henri. Warobes were full of clothes and we found it very claustrophobic. Our feeling was that the owner had just vacated just for our stay.
