Cave Canvas

Lovely, tranquil location and a cute accommodation. Krishna and the other staff were very friendly and welcoming, and our host Ashok was communicative and helpful. The area is full of wildlife, so be warned if you don’t like the idea of creatures scampering over the roof at night! We also enjoyed that it was only a half hour’s easy walk to Mount Abu centre.

I appreciate that it’s hard to keep a rural accommodation completely free of dirt and insects (we even had two small scorpions in ours!) but we arrived to find a burnt-out match and ash in the bathroom, so cleaning had not been very thorough. Also, while I was thankful for the kettle and teabags, especially late at night when I didn’t wish to disturb the staff, I made myself a cup of tea only to realise that all the creamer sachets were way out of date. Unhygienic. We weren’t too bothered about a TV, but the fact that one is advertised (with streaming channels) for the room we booked and yet is totally absent, might annoy other guests.

It was nice experience with the Cave Canvas to stay with family . Surrounding weather is feels like good hill station , mountains around with calm area and its real silent zone to do meditation and prayer if you are interested. Mr. Krishna is managing this property and have good cooperation , perfect room service and also he serves us with delicious breakfast include my Jain Veg. option with enough quantity , which include in the room charge. We can seat for breakfast ,out side of the room with our personal dining table chair and can enjoy healthy fresh atmosphere surrounding. When you come with car from main mount Abu road to inside , at least first time need to take help of the room service boy to guide us toward the perfect way to the Cave Canvas.That was resolved by prior call. Also location is out of toll tax gate ,but just beside 200 meters . So you need to carry Hotel visiting Card when you do number of time ,exit reentry to toll gate of Mount Abu.

The stay was decent. The room was clean and comfortable, though a few areas could be improved, helpful staff Overall, a satisfactory experience.

The location was absolutely serene, amidst the hillocks and the valleys. We had an amazing time there. very well assisted and coordinated by the staff and absolutely warm people up there. Devyanshu really took good care from booking, to guiding us up the property and any necessary things required. The staff pratap, Ayush and the jockey of the horse have been absolutely sweet. The best part is Pablo (horse who was extremely joyous and specifically kept for the property) who had our heart from day one. Cave canvas as a room is absolutely stunning with transparent windows overlooking the hills and the cave style architecture has been a unique experience and should be experienced once a time! Lovely time up there.
