Hmlet Essentials Kallang

Extremely convenient location; helpful staff; very good cleanliness and hygiene; easily reachable from the airport; bus and MRT stations are within walking distance; many eating options (mostly budget and mid-range) nearby

The room felt extremely small and cramped. To be fair to the management, they have provided all the information while booking; so, there is no misselling involved, whatsoever. It can suffice if you will be mostly spending your time outside. Else, one could consider bigger rooms within the same facility. The management may consider offering a common kitchen and luggage space for these rooms, like the laundry facilities that are available on premises.

Very easy to check in and out

There was a constant dripping noise coming from the bathroom even though none of the taps were leaking

The two of us stayed for 8 nights, and as a couple it was comfortable and totally fine. A little small, but had everything we needed.

There was a bit of miscommunication about the cleaning. The "please clean" sign was out on our room for 3 days, but it was not cleaned. When we asked the staff, they told us the cleaning is done on a certain day for every floor. The "please clean" sign was out for us on that day, yet it still did not happen. So this was a bit disappointing.

-The location, not too far from MRT station 10 mins walk. (But we mostly use taxi) -a lot of good restaurants near by. -The mattress is so comfortable. -The pressure of shower is so strong which is good.

-Smell trash/dumpster is so bad all the time of the stying (2 nights) -The cockroach is a host who welcomes us at front of our room’s doors and inside the room #101 (we not blur since i kill that cockroach by my hand !!!! -The space in bathroom is so tiny, doesn’t have enough a convenient storage space. -No light in the kitchen (or may be we cant find how to turn on) so dark, it’s not function able to use kitchen at all so disappointing. (Why we booked the room with kitchen but we cant even use it) Doesn’t have a convenient parking spot/space/lot for pick up and drop off from taxi.
