I booked the Deluxe Family Room as a birthday gift for a friend, who happened to share the same birthday as my husband. Although I didn’t personally stay in the room, my friend shared that the room was surprisingly spacious and much bigger than expected based on the listing photos. It was a great choice for her family as she was travelling with several children and siblings, so the large room was very suitable for a big group. The swimming pool also has a mini water park, and from the photos, the kids looked like they were having so much fun! 😊 The room package also included breakfast, which was a nice added bonus. I can’t comment much on the other facilities since I wasn’t the one staying there, but based on my friend’s experience and the photos she shared, it looks like a great place for a family getaway. Hopefully, I’ll get the chance to stay here myself next time and experience it personally! ❤️

Extremely disappointing experience at Tanjung Puteri Golf Resort. I booked a two-bedroom villa and paid a very expensive rate for this unit. At this price, I expected a villa that was properly equipped, clean, well maintained and supported by a reasonable standard of service. Unfortunately, what I received simply does not justify the price charged. For the amount guests are expected to pay, the facilities are shockingly inadequate. There is no proper pantry setup and not even a proper refrigerator. Housekeeping was equally disappointing. The bed was not properly made, and basic items such as the plates and mugs were not properly cleaned or attended to. These are not luxury expectations. They are basic requirements, particularly when a property is charging such a high rate for a villa. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the duty manager, Mohd Fahmi, when I called to express my disappointment. Instead of listening and handling my concerns professionally, he was rude and actually told me to stop talking and listen to him. I found this extremely disrespectful and completely unacceptable from someone in a managerial position. If you are going to charge guests a premium price, then the accommodation, facilities, cleanliness and service must reflect that price. You cannot charge premium rates and provide substandard facilities, poor housekeeping and rude customer service. I certainly do not feel that I received anywhere near the value or standard I paid for. Management seriously needs to review both the pricing and the actual standard of these villas. Based on my experience, the price charged is simply not justified by what is being provided.
