I really liked this house. There's a double bedroom downstairs next to the bathroom. Upstairs are two further bedrooms (twin and double) and another toilet. I loved the old pictures, photos, paintings and artefacts - fascinating. The kitchen was perfectly kitted out. Yes, there were a few cobwebs and a lot of flies, but the kitchen and bedrooms were very clean and tidy. The garden was huge and great and we loved the table tennis and goal. A shame the spa/hot tub wasn't working, but this wasn't included in the spec so that was OK. It would be a massive plus if it could be fixed - its location was lovely. The jacuzzi bath was popular. My teen daughter also loved the blackout blinds and was like a mole for the week we were there. I sat out in the mornings with my coffee. The house is very private and although there were a couple of properties nearby, the house is not overlooked and there was no noise. It was very peaceful.

I liked it all. There was nothing the host could have done to make it better. To be aware, the beds in the twin room aren't big. They were fine for my 13 year old boys, but would probably be too narrow/short for bigger teens or adults. Definitely a kids' bedroom.
