Brilliant Place to Stay

Brilliant place to stay. Comfortable, peaceful, easy to find. Excellent facilities. We highly recommend it.

The description could be better. We have a poor idea of 'youth hostel', but here this just means shared kitchen, lounge and garden space.

Very clean and comfortable room. The property was in a lovely area, within a nice walk from the town.

Lovely house in a good location

Good location, not too much of a walk to the town centre. We were able to find free on-street parking easily, although the property also has parking spaces within the grounds. Beautiful house which had been modernised to the point where it felt - for us - a bit too minimal - it depends on your taste. Bathroom was excellent. Host was friendly and helpful. No tea/coffee making in the room - there is a communal kitchen for guests to use but it wasn't clear whether this meant we could help ourselves to coffee etc. Lovely decking area for guests to use too. We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on that.

This is a family house, so there is some noise from the children playing basketball outside. Host wasn't there to let us in, even though we arrived within the time we had specified, so we had to wait outside for him. In the morning, another guest started shouting at us that we had blocked her car in, even though we told her ours was on the street - not sure what she wanted us to do about it?! Although not the hosts' fault, they weren't there to assist when maybe they should have been?

Miły pobyt

Okolica , w której położony jest dom jest cicha , blisko do centrum . Pokój ładnie urządzony , estetycznie , wygodne łóżka . Korzystaliśmy tylko ze śniadań ale jest przestronna kuchnia w której można samodzielnie coś przygotować. Wygodny parking. Guingamp jest idealnym miejscem na zwiedzanie tej części Bretanii. Polecam nocleg w tym hotelu .

Magnifique demeure, super accueil du maître de maison, qui nous a conseillé un super restaurant. La chambre très propre, le lit très confortable. Nous étions en moto, nous avons pu rentrer les motos dans la cour (plusieurs place de parking) fermé par un portail électrique. Super de pouvoir aller manger au restaurant a 5 mn à pied. Nous avons adoré le petit déjeuner servi par notre hôtesse Sophie.

Belle découverte à Guingamp

Accueil de Paul et Sophie agréable et professionnel. Très belle auberge avec chambre spacieuse et couchage confortable. Parking intérieur appréciable car secteur compliqué pour se garer, donc point positif. Emplacement geographique sympa au calme tout en etant proche des bars et restaurants. Au final rapport qualité prix quasi imbattable pour le segment / secteur. Belle surprise me concernant qui suis un aficionados des hôtels plus conventionnels typés Ibis, Mercure etc... Je recommande sans hésiter.

Allez juste pour mettre un truc, j'aurais aimé un pain au chocolat au petit déjeuner (en vrai le croissant était très bon mais j'adore le chocolat)

Il comportamento dell'host è stato a dir poco deludente. Dopo aver fatto il check-out ed essere già in viaggio per la successiva destinazione, sono stato chiamato dall'host che lamentava la mancanza di un oggetto da una delle due stanze. A causa delle difficoltà di comunicazione, ho deciso di tornare in struttura per discutere la lamentela di persona. L'host lamentava la mancanza di un bicchiere di plastica dal bagno (di quelli usa e getta normalmente presenti negli alberghi). Pur sapendo che c'era stato dato un solo bicchiere, ho chiesto il valore per risarcirlo. L'host ha risposto che il valore era €0.50, quindi, visto l'importo irrisorio, le ho offerto €1 per chiudere la discussione e poter riprendere il viaggio. L'offerta è stata prontamente accettata dall'host. Sono rimasto a dir poco perplesso dal fatto che riutilizzassero bicchieri usa e getta e che fossi stato chiamato per una cifra a dir poco ridicola, soprattutto considerando il costo delle stanza. Non tornerò piu in questa struttura e di certo non posso raccomandarla.
