Seaside Splendor! 1BR Oasis with Private Oceanfront Balcony at Wyndham Oceanwalk

This Condo was very nice. The ocean front view was amazing! Not too high and not too low. We enjoyed watching the seagulls dive bomb into the ocean for prey and watching boats sailing by. We were close enough to the Bandshell to listen to the Friday and Saturday concerts from our balcony. The pools, hot tubs, and the lazy river were warm, clean, and fun! They stayed open until midnight too! The inside of the Resort is very pretty and easy to get around. The resort staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The condo has a wonderful luxury shower head that was just what we needed after long days of exploration. We enjoyed using the full size refrigerator to store some snacks and bottled water. I was able to do a load of laundry right in the condo before we left for the week.

The overall stay was incredible! There a few things that could be updated to make it an even better experience. Both the King size bed and the double sofa bed were very uncomfortable. The pillows were almost completely flat. We bought some nice fluffy ones at Walmart and left them in hopes they could be washed and reused for the next visitors. A few nights on the balcony it was apparent that a renter a few floors below us was smoking weed. It got so bad that we couldn't sit out for a full night. I alerted our hosts and that issue was handled. The only other thing was that a recliner chair was broke when we sat in it. I again alerted the host and they sent a maintenance person up. He ended up taking it from the room. It was okay because there was still enough seating for all of us. So even though there was a few bumps, we would definitely stay again. It was well worth the cost and the hosts were top notch when we had any issues!

Great hotel, great staff, and great all around.

The condo could use a little updating

We had 2 adults, 2 kids (ages 11 & 13). I was worried about booking a 1 bedroom, but this place was quite large. The pullout couch was big enough that there was no fighting. (lol) We are not helicopter parents, but we are also not out of sight, out of mind parents. The resort aspect was large enough that the kids felt like they had their space, small enough that we could at any time look for them and get eyes on them. The facility itself was extremely secure. It is completely fenced in where the pools/waterslide are. There was just the right amount of security at the entrances/exit gates that you felt very comfortable.

Everything was wonderful.
