It was waste of money. We paid $3,200 for accommodation which didn’t worth it.
The cabin was made of bamboo
The toilet was outside of cabin. In dark we had to go to outside toilet which was back to open jungle and rice field where we expected snake. The amenities were old and dirty. A frog was in the cabin singing and hovering around. Gekko's poos were every where. When I saw its poo in my bed, I had enough of it. We paid for 14 nights and stayed for 7 and left. Description of location was 2.2k from Ubud but with car we ride was at least 10k and usually took 20 minutes. The place photos were very nice but in reality it wasn’t. It was horrible experience for a first time to go to Bali.

Good and beautiful location, but very inconvenient and overpriced
The location right between the rice fields and rainforest is beautiful, as are the bamboo cabins. Room and kitchen were well equipped.
Of all the accommodations we booked prior to our Bali trip, we had the highest expectations of Bamboo Cabin Sanctuary by far, but in reality it was the most disappointing stay of all of them. We paid 3 to 4 times as much as opposed to other locations we stayed at that were much better in the end.
For starters, the location is pretty remote and far away from the Ubud hustle and bustle. On the single road to the accommodation there is a checkpoint from where Bluebird and Grab taxis are not allowed access making you completely dependent on local drivers that overcharge you instead of just using the convenient apps that you can use all throughout Bali.
The photos have been taken either a long time ago or have been edited. In reality the accommodation could use a good rub and scrub. There is no nearby supermarket or restaurant. The future restaurant for Bamboo Cabin Sanctuary was still under construction while we stayed there and didn't look like it was going to be finished anytime soon. You'll have to take a 1.5km walk way past the checkpoint to the nearby town and order a Bluebird or Grab to go anywhere or grab any groceries. Breakfast was mediocre, and had to be ordered through WhatsApp every evening. Options were very limited as opposed to the much simpler and cheaper accommodations we stayed.
When staying in a lush location and as other reviews and the accommodation itself have already pointed out, it's to be expected that you are going to stumble upon bugs and animals. What we didn't expect was that there was a huge gap between the walls and ceiling of the cabins making the room literally open and connected with the outside. We had a lot of visitors, from frogs and geckos to big spiders and other fairly big mammals. This also resulted in a lot of animal droppings right on top of the mosquito nets, beds and floors. Not even once in the 5 days we stayed did we get new towels, did the room get cleaned or were the trash bins emptied.

De omgeving Ubud is zeker de moeite waard, niet alleen vanwege de rijstvelden en monkeyforest.
De host, Kemang, was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam.Elke ochtend, ontbijtservice op bestelling op tijd, tips over wat te doen, chauffeur geregeld, en tot slot elke ochtend en avond olifantjes van het zwembad aan en uitzetten.

Les lits sont tellement grands et confortables. La douche en extérieur avec les toilettes en extérieurs sont un vrai + car nous les européens/français nous n’avons pas l’habitude ça.
Piscine très bien
Le petit déjeuner était bien. Vous avez 5 choix pour le matin avec 2 choix de jus. C’est suffisant car pensez une chose : à Bali on fait que de manger 🤣
Le seul point négatif qu’on peut lui donner c’est l’établissement est à 5-10 minutes en voiture de Ubud donc si vous êtes à pied il vous faut un chauffeur parce que il y’a pas grand chose autour et vous pouvez pas commander de grab (Uber) car c’est une zone « anti » grab qui privilégie les taxis ou driveurs. Pour pouvoir en commander un vous devrez sortir de la zone (3-5 minutes de marches donc ça va)
Par contre vous pouvez faire livrer à manger le soir sur Grab. C’est la seule fois où les grab sont autorisés à passer!

Belle piscine.
Aucun grab n’est autorisé à venir dans cette zone. Les taxis sont gérés par un groupement de locaux et les prix sont 3x plus cher que grab. Il faut marcher 15 minutes depuis l’hôtel pour sortir de la zone et pouvoir commander un grab. Logistique difficile avec des valises..
Le logement est très humide, impossible de faire sécher les serviettes de douches ou maillot de bains en 72h..

Le calme, l’ambiance de la Jungle, la piscine et surtout la gentillesse de Koran. Il fait tout pour vous, toujours avec le sourire.
Si vous louez une voiture pour y arriver, la petite route qui vous y amènera sera votre Pékin express !!! 😉🤣

Kleinschaligheid, heerlijk zwembad, slapen met de ‘jungle’ geluiden in een mooi afgewerkt bamboo huis. Komang, de host, is een perfecte gastheer en zorgt goed voor de gasten.
Scooters kunnen huren en werden bij verblijf afgeleverd.
Weinig, als we we toch iets moeten noemen zou het ontbijt wat uitgebreider kunnen.

Séjour dépaysant et superbe
Le droit est très beau et dépaysant.
Un grand merci à Koman l’intendant qui a été vraiment adorable et présent pour nous accompagner dans chaque étape de notre séjour. Il est très serviable et sait être présent si besoin ou pas. Vraiment nous le remercions pour sa gentillesse et sa bienveillance, il manque déjà beaucoup aux enfants.

Joli séjour dans les rizières
Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables et la déco est super. En famille c’est parfait! Le lieu est joli et cosi. Le personnel est adorable.
Il y a deux bungalows et pas vraiment de services. Le lieu étant en zone semi urbaine, difficile de trouver quelque chose à boire ou à manger. Le petit déjeuner est visiblement livré de l’extérieur et arrive froid.

Super verblijf midden in de natuur
Hele mooie bamboo huisjes midden tussen de rijstvelden omgeven met natuur. Heerlijke bedden, mooie buiten badkamer met heerlijk warme douche. Onze vriendelijke host stond op elk tijdstip voor ons klaar. Echt een topper! Hij heeft goed voor ons gezorgd en regelmatig gevraagd of alles in orde was/of hij iets voor ons kom betekenen.
Grab of Gojack chauffeurs mogen in dit gebied niet rijden. Het was ons wat onduidelijk waarom dit was. Je bent altijd afhankelijk van een locale chauffeur. Vonden wij wat onhandig.
Afstand tot het drukke Ubud was verder dan wij dachten. We zaten dus iets langer in de taxi.
