The only house you should rent in Oaxaca!
Don't sleep on this place! I know the lack of reviews might deter you but please don't let it as Arnulfo, the host, lists it on other websites too. Arnulfo was in touch with me before my arrival and on the day of my arrival to greet me at the door. He had two copies of the keys which was needed given that we were a sizable group. The house is spacious and immaculate, fully stocked with drinking water, and has a double garage. My in-laws, in their 70's, found the house easy to navigate with its wide stairs and a full or half bathroom on each floor. Can we talk about the top floor? WOW! The view from the terrace is stunning, especially come sunset. The pool is just what the doctor ordered and you can catch the sunrise from there as well. Bird watchers rejoice, the trees near the house see many birds come and go. There is a food court and a food market nearby along with a gorgeous church. You will be a ten-minute walk from the center of town and so many phenomenal places to eat all around, especially the coffee shop that is right next door to the house (coffee and drinking chocolate are a must!). Everything was safe to walk, even at night. Otherwise the yellow taxis are cheap. This is the only place I will rent on my next trip to Oaxaca and if you stayed there you would understand why as well!
The gurgle from the pool above could be heard in the room, but it served as white noise.
