Amazing space! It is beautiful and great for a surprise. Shame we could only stay for 1 night. Wish I’d have booked longer. Pool table is a great touch.

Opulence and class.

Gorgeous enormous house with fantastic garden. Really lovely well- equipped kitchen . Furniture lovely . Totally unique experience to stay there

Despite the excellence here are a couple of suggestions for future guests . More lamps required to create ambient lighting . Windows don’t open in a few rooms and so if it’s hot - need more fans . Mattresses and bedding perhaps need a refresh/replace as not totally comfortable. But to say again / the house is incredible !

Simply a stunning place to stay!

What an amazing townhouse! We booked it for our wedding get-ready and to allow all family to stay together. Not only it’s a historic house, its decor is also full of characters! I love all the wallpapers too. Just gorgeous. House is very clean. It’s huge! I mean, I know it’s big but it was beyond my imagination. Such a cool experience to stay there for 4 nights! All family loved it! Robyn, the host, is also very responsive if you have any questions! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely back for special occasions!!

Fab stay at Friargate

Thanks for a fabulous stay at Friar Gate House. The house has lots of history and character. It was absolutely huge the pics don't do it justice. The garden was great as well we weren't expecting such a good outside space, the lads were happy with the football and basketball net. Would definitely stay again perfect for our group of 9 friends.

It's well situated, absolutely massive and genuinely beautiful. Grand is the perfect word to describe it. The photos are lovely but trust me, they don't do this unique gem of a property justice, it's a must see.
