Cabin Name: Pipers Place

- A NATURE LOVERS PARADISE - Sitting in tree tops on the mountainside you will find Pipers Place. With lots of trees and surrounded by nature, you will find native bushes, birds and lots of peace & quiet.

Pipers Place is a beautiful studio cabin built just for the couple in mind. From a short weekend getaway to a long HONEYMOON, this cabin will fulfill your every need.

From the comfy king-size bed to the gas fireplace, this place exudes romance and joy. Pipers Place is located in the Timberwinds Resort which has large lots for each cabin and is situated for maximum privacy. The resort also offers a seasonal swimming pool and pavilion.

Please be aware that this cabin is up a steep road and may be inaccessible by a non-4-wheel drive vehicle in icy/snowy/wet conditions. It may require a 4-wheel drive vehicle at all times of the year due to wet roads.

We do not accept pets in any of the cabins without specific written approval from management. Only those dogs that have specific and formal training as a SERVICE dog will be allowed in our cabins. Emotional support animals are not accepted.

IMPORTANT: Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day

Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies, and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin, and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away, and unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors.
*There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc.

FEES: The management company of this cabin charges a $20 per stay Damage Waiver Fee to every customer. It is automatically included in your rate. This covers our guests for up to $350 worth of accidental damage should damage occur during their stay. If damage occurs to the cabin, furnishings, etc, please report it to management as soon as possible so that the damage can be repaired. You may opt out of paying the $20 damage waiver fee by putting down a $350 REFUNDABLE damage deposit.

✨ Peace of Mind & Travel Insurance:
I want your stay to be stress-free and enjoyable. Please note that this home has a strict cancellation policy. Because life can be unpredictable, we encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance for extra peace of mind. This way, you can book with confidence knowing you’re protected no matter what comes up. This can be done at www.insuremytrip.com where you can pick the coverage that suits your situation.

Stayed in town for a Bronco event, cabin was super close, just outside of Townsend. It was just as described. Make sure you follow the directions they send you and don’t follow GPS. Definitely a steep incline to get to the cabin but worth the drive up for sure!!
