Cicapuy

Beautiful serene place to stay in the Italian alps with wonderful hosts. The food served at dinner was exceptional. Many thanks for providing such a memorable stay. We look forward to coming back again and spending more time here.

Our stay at Cicapuy surpassed all our expectations! The house, food, decor, and amenities are a winning fusion of local traditions with modern comfort and style, and a genuine commitment to harmony with nature. Authentic materials, antiques, and contemporary art reflect the owners’ attention to detail. The hosts’ love of cooking is evident in the variety and refinement of the cuisine - the food and hospitality are outstanding! We loved the meals made from locally sourced and foraged foods - the flavour and attention to detail was exquisite and the portions generous. We also enjoyed the mountain hikes and views - all easily accessible on foot from the property. Even though the town and property is located at the end of a narrow and winding mountain road, we very much appreciated the instructions and support provided by the owners, as well as the ample convenient parking at the property.

Paola is the real gem here, her generosity as a host is unmatched. It's also the cosiest mountain retreat, with a beautiful view in all directions of a 200 year old village. Also there is a second smaller village, or the remains of one, 20 minutes walking up a hillside. Paola also offers a superb dinner (costs extra, worth it) , and the breakfast is delicious (cold included, hot extra, also worth it). My partner and I were completely stuffed with the most local, amazing treats for a fully day afterwards. :) No TV in our room was a blessing! I can't stand those black boxes when I want to 'get away'. Remember, it's a mountain retreat, not a 5-star hotel, so the amenitities are different. And for a mountain visit, Paola does it excellently. We will be back.

For those who are coming and unfamiliar with mountain villages, the road up is a little charming/daunting. Drive carefully. Bigger vehicles might struggle on the tight turns, or especially if someone else is coming down.

Posizione, Soprattutto la strada per arrivare 3 km di strada stretta a doppio senso con la paura di trovare un altro veicolo dopo ogni curva, Colazione molto misera… Mentre la cena che sul sito era al costo di 25 euro più bevande invece è stato di 84 euro per tre persone più bevande ….
