Ca' del Pittore in Dorsoduro, elegant Fine Arts district

Everything was absolutely perfect. The apartment was spotless, spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable for our family. The location is one of the best in Venice, within walking distance of all the main attractions while still being peaceful and quiet. Elena was an outstanding host—kind, professional, always responsive, and happy to help with every question we had. Her communication made our stay completely stress-free. We truly appreciated everything and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

The apartment is very spacious, has ample common space with a high ceiling, and a wonderful collection of artwork. It is conveniently located by the three vaporetto stops. We were two adult couples and were very comfortable.

As expected, the apartment is right above the lively Corner Bar, and the evening voices often required closing of the windows. We were staying for two weeks, and there was one misunderstanding. Right before our arrival, we were informed that if we want cleaning, towels, and sheets changes after the first week, we will be charged 80 euros. From our previous extended-time rentals, we are used to that service being provided for free. We declined, but then we were informed that the cleaning person would come anyway. We were surprised that, in addition to cleaning, the sheets and towels were changed, and we were not charged for the service. We don't understand why we were initially asked to pay for the standard service.

It was a super location and the apartment had a very arty feel with beautiful paintings

There was a damp smell and a little stale cigarette smoke smell in the sitting room.

Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war völlig ok, großes Appartement, gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber, recht zentral nahe Brücke Accademia. Auch der Empfang war sehr freundlich, allerdings zahlt man bei Ankunft ab 20 Uhr gestaffelte Zusatzpreise.

Bei unserer Ankunft wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Toilettenspülung im großen Bad unten nicht ganz in Ordnung ist. Nach 2 Nächten funktionierte sie gar nicht mehr, das Wasser lief literweise bis zu unserer Abreise am 5. Tag durch (Umwelt, Kosten :-(( ). Wir mussten ins kleine Bad oben ausweichen, was unangenehm war, da wir dazu durch das Schlafzimmer der anderen Personen gehen mussten. Die ständig laufende Spülung habe ich in meinem Schlafzimmer zudem deutlich gehört.
