malgré sa situation attenante à une maison de retraite, et bien qu'il ne soit rien dit à ce sujet au départ, je tiens à dire que nous avons vraiment apprécié ce beau logement, bien équipé, finalement très calme, et non loin des plages ou du centre ville. bravo et merci, ce séjour a été excellent grâce à tout cela.

There was nothing to like about our experience of trying to get access to an apartment we had already paid for. Without doubt the worse start to a holiday we have ever had. We spent 2.5 hours trying to get the keys off the owner Once in the apartment we found it to be comfortable, modern, quiet, very handy for the ferry and accessible by car to all the D-Day places of interest. Things we noticed during our 7 night stay: 1. Flush button on top of toilet is loose and protruding. 2. The shower takes a long time to drain off the water. 3. Adjustable clamp which holds the shower head can come apart when showering. 4. Toaster will only operate if you hold the slider bar down with your fingers. The apartment does not have a designated parking place. Trying to park each night was dreadful. The majority of the spaces are allocated to Thalatta, a medical clinic. Road side parking is also impossible because all the spaces are taken up by residents and Thalatta staff. We arrived back late one evening and parked in the only available space which was a Thalatta space. Next morning there was a note left on our windscreen saying "This was a private place and we could not stop here." There was also a scratch down the driver's side of the car. The scratch was not there when we parked the car there that evening. Clients of Booking.com need to be made aware of this.

My wife and I arrived at the apartment at the agreed time of 17..OO Hours and there was nobody there to meet us. We waited 30 minutes and rang the telephone number provided by Booking.com. The person who answered the phone spoke only French and we only speak English, we could not communicate. We tried phoning again and a different person answered but we had the same language problem. We kept expecting somebody to arrive but nobody did, It appeared the owners of the apartment were ignoring us. We needed a translator and went to an Ibis Hotel but they could not help. They mentioned Normans Pub may be able to help us . They let us use their Wi FI because we were having difficulty connecting to a network and once they had read our correspondence they explained that the owner of the apartment would only give us the keys once we had paid a deposit of 500 Euros. We paid the money by credit card using WI FI at the Pub. We were very grateful for the help given by the Staff at Normans. Once the deposit was received we were given the location of a key lock and its code. We finally got into the apartment at 19.30 Hours. We found the whole experience very stressful and worrying and at one point wondered where we would sleep that night. At our ages of 83 and 76 we can do without what we went through. We booked and paid for the apartment through Booking.com and would like you look into this. As we left the apartment as we found it, we expect to receive our 500 Euros deposit returned as we were told we would. We left the apartment at 6.30am on Friday and placed the keys in the key lock. We never did meet the owners of the apartment.

locatie was perfect, we waren er met normandie beach race en alles was op loopafstand, super en we konden onze auto goed en veilig parkeren. Verder was alles op en top geregeld bij de voorziening, koffie/thee en zelfs een koekje erbij. je voelde je als gast welkom, leuke veranda om even te zitten.

Omdat het veel verhuurd word krijg je natuurlijk dat er wat kan slijten, ik zou het her en der en keer nalopen zodat het perfect blijft. waterkoker deksel, wc drukknop, broodrooster. Maar we hebben genoten van alle comfort.

Le logement est spacieux, lumineux et Très bien équipé on s’y sent bien ! L’emplacement est parfait car Bien situé _à mi chemin entre la plage le port et le bourg tout en étant au calme (résidence collée à la Thalatta ) Très propre bravo pour le ménage et Merci pour toutes les petites attentions
