Just what we needed for a one night family stay.

The space and location.

I think the outside building was not great but inside the apartment was all ok. It was pretty noisy but understandable with the location.

A central location with good facilities was exactly what I needed and enhanced my trip significantly

The location of the property was very central with excellent views. Everything was located close to the property including all the main shops, many cafes and bars, Halifax Minster, The Piece Hall, Bus Station and Railway Station.

Scaffolding surrounding the building was a slight negative. The building was having a facelift with some internal work as well but that also meant there was assistance on hand when required.

Good and reasonably priced for what we needed

Safe secure parking both car park and apartment in central location

Semi finished, paper hanging off walls in the bedroom but bed comfortable, kitchenette well equipped and obviously being renovated to a good standard as lounge was finished. Linen clean and of good quality.

Property should not have been let in current condition.

I was only told the property was up three flights of stairs on the day of arrival. We both had heavy suitcases and are 69 and 70 years old. We were given the wrong code for the lock box and couldn't get in, had to phone to get the correct code. The property had badly peeling and ripped wallpaper throughout and no door handle to the living room. The entrance hallway had decorating equipment in it, it seemed the property was about to be renovated.

Lovely, central and good value for money.

How central it was and the style of the room was lovely, hosts also very helpful.

Only downfall was the noise, from 2am they were a group of people on the street arguing and it kept us up as you could hear it very clear along with any other noise outside.

The place was a mess, wallpaper hanging off the walls, walls with unfinished wallpaper, cheap facilities, massively over priced, poor comunication, too many instructions, terrible furniture, tiny bathroom.

Location and parking excellent

The bed on arrival was soaked through. Ring mark on the quilt indicated had been wet for a while , could wring out the towels on the bed , the mattress was soaking through. Windows had been left open and fan on so someone clearly knew it was wet. Nikki on the phone was very helpful and found us another apartment in the building . This stunk to high heaven . You borked when using the bathroom. The bed was squashed under the eaves. We couldn’t wait to leave. On leaving we overheard the cleaners discussing our first room and they clearly knew about the issue.

Finding the front door from the Car park. Felt a bit like Crystal Maze trying to get parked and into the room with all the codes. Dont think the Place had been hoovered since the last guests. Nothing major

Okay but certainly not luxury!

Great location and comfy beds. Basic but all you could need for an overnight stay.

Very complicated instructions to get in and park etc. Also, was very expensive for what it was - not particularly clean, flooring coming up in kitchen and just a bit grubby. Definitely not worth almost £200 per night!

Pleasant enough for a short stay

The owners were very communicative and left us a welcome gift basket which was very sweet. The location was only a short walk from the train station and Piece Hall - although the area was a little run down it was close enough to everything centrally. The apartment was clean with good facilities (although the fridge was kind of hidden) and a little difficult to find. We saw some people making the same mistake we did trying to find the entrance. TV had Netflix etc.

- The hidden fridge, washing machine & iron were in a strange place meaning you had to go through the master bedroom to find these. - The Sofa bed wasn't very comfy but manageable for 1 night. - Some of the decorating needed finishing still. - £100 deposit was required before the codes were given - I didn't notice/see this during the booking process

Very nice and a good place to stay for one night :)

The flat for the most part was really beautiful and modern looking. We were literally a 5 minute walk from the piece hall so was an amazing location, I also loved how attentive and kind the hosts were in making sure our stay was okay! The hamper they left for us on arrival was lovely too <3 I also really loved knowing my car was safe in a closed carpark too!

A lot of the sash windows didn't open and there was no blinds in the bathroom so having to go shower was a bit awkward because there is a building across the road and the bed was really uncomfortable but it does do fine for one night

Great place if a little pricey

The location is perfect, the apartment is well equiped and comfortable and has everything you might need for even quite a long stay. The communication is great and the whole exeprience was very easy and hassle free.

I can't fault anything about the apartment or the service I received. I think the pricing per night is a bit excessive, but there aren't many alternatives so I guess that is why

Fly infestation

Lovely building, nice decor in Room. Bed was comfortable.

The flat had a fly infestation. We were originally booked for a different flat but then we were moved to an attic flat because the room we had booked had a broken bed. We thought ok. But when we moved into the flat and saw the flies everywhere it felt quite disgusting and especially in the bathroom. The flies were coming through the loft maybe through the extractor fan. I couldn't have a shower without a fly landing on me. We couldn't go anywhere else last minute. What I don't like is that the accommodation team finally apologised and acknowledged the problem, and said they would give a discount on the room but then I have not heard anything since then and that was at the beginning of may and we are now at the end of May. I feel like they just fobbed me off.

Cosy little place but too loud

Lovely apartment , living room and etc .

No tv in the bedroom , bedroom wall had mould or needed painting . Very loud . All the way till 6 am didn’t realise it would be this loud .

Just what we needed

I personally like my independent and love the fact that I can check in alone without having to meet and talk to anyone. Self check in is easy and straightforward loved it .

On arrival at the property the fridge was off tried the switches and nothing water was dripping from the freezer didn’t know what else to do contacted the property manager also the television was not straightforward on and off no channels were showing up as soon as u put the tv on which frustrated me after a 3 hour journey sometimes you just want to sit back and unwind so I contacted the manager again about this which I will say I was very impressed by their quick response and offers to move rooms which was fantastic.on the next day back from work the microwave was not working I couldn’t hear up my food that upset me after a 12 hours shift but an arrangement was made the next day to exchange the microwave with a different one it’s just this little things when working away from home become an upset but overall it’s a beautiful space very convenient for what we needed .more toilet rolls would have been nice though we ended up buying some more . Some cleaning cloths would have been useful just to wife the cooker and surfaces also a spare bin bag or two would have made things easier as sometimes u want to get rid of he food smells especially staying for 5 nights like we did .suggestion to ensure all equipment has been checked and tested to avoid guests getting frustrated during stay but thank u for dealing with it promptly.
