Value for money, great location

Location for great - very central. Everything supplied including hairdryer, shower gel, handwash, washing up liquid, tea towel, sponge etc. Very easy access instructions. Felt secure. Very good interior glazing which meant sound was minimal. Very good heating.

Wallpaper in bedroom was falling off the walls. Temperature control on shower did not seem to work -either too hot or stone cold.

Central. It was clean and comfortable.

With being central there was some outside noise from revellers but it stopped not long after midnight.

Would not stay again been lied to by booking.com

Not the apartment i booked had a phonecall from booking .com on the morning we were on way to go to to say boiler had broken and couldnt be fixed but when there a group of girls came out of the one i had booked knew nothing about boiler been broken so can’t understand why they said we were unable to have that one got put in another one at rear of building not happy i did message owners Sunday morning regarding this but they did not reply till the Monday we left and now it’s Saturday 27th December and still no maintenance deposit of £100 back

Smelly stairwell and a man loitering on landings constantly as we left or returned said he was doing renovations to building and living in apartment 6 and if we needed anything to give him a knock he smelt of booze , the apartment we had been given as an alternative on going to bed trying to sleep constant loud water noise down each side of the beds was at it all night drainage was terrible didn’t sleep a wink for the 2 nights was exhausted spoiled our Christmas stay and noise from nightclub Saturday night went on till 4.30 ish Sunday morning read in previous comments that other occupants had been left earplugs on bedsides but we weren’t left any

We didn’t feel safe so we left and didn’t stay the night. Not a 4 star property and would definitely not recommend .

The location was central

It a was scruffy entrance. The apartment wasn’t clean. There were dirty glasses of water on the side, the toilet hadn’t been flushed never mind cleaned and it smelt of smoke/weed. The spare bedding didn’t look clean.

Ok for centre short stay

Location was great and perfect for what we needed 2/3 of the rooms we booked were fine and parking which was a bonus (secure as well)

1 of the rooms we had stunk of smoke, had a kettle that was vile and unusable, a broken shower (good job we booked 3 apartments) and because they had to have the window open because of the smell got no sleep as this apartment is in the town centre and on Fri night the taxi rank is next door so everyone screaming until 5am 😩

The property is in need of redecoration and the carpet and flooring needs replacing in the living area , looks like there has been a water leak in the property above (stained ceiling and peeling wallpaper), kitchen needs new worktop and attention to the cupboards, the hand basin needs replacing as it is chipped. Kitchen poorly equipped.

Excellent Apartment in Halifax Center

The location was perfect. Communication on arrival was excellent considering I was a late booking. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped for our needs. The beds were comfortable and the 11am checkout as standard was a welcome surprise... We all like a lie on a Sunday. Communication on check out was clear and very friendly also. I will definitely be booking with this host again in the near future and will be recommending them moving forward. Thanks guys.

We entered the property with the TV on loud and the fan on The rug in the living area was wet The beds were 2 single beds moved together. One was okay, the other one was too soft and slightly uncomfortable The bathroom had an odd smell, and there was hair on the walls. It smelled like someone had been smoking in there

Nice apartment with parking close by.

Secure parking space provided close by. Kitchen was well equipped even though we did not use everything. Apartment was tidy and nicely decorated. Beds comfortable, pillows not so much. Information provided for arriving was very good. Clear instructions were provided for location, car parking and access to the property. Location was fairly close to the Piece Hall.

Wifi dropped out after a short while. Entrance hall to property gives a bad first impression and definitely needs sprucing up a bit as it detracts from the apartment as a whole. As for the apartment itself, the pillows were very very firm but that's down to personal choice.

Apartment is in a great location, very clean and well equipped.

Booked as being suitable for 4 adults but the sofa bed is far too small. Very difficult for 2 adults to sleep comfortably on it. For £300 a night I would expect much better

Nice but is it worth the price?

Loved the apartment. I was attending a concert at Piece Hall and the location was extremely convenient. A nice bonus that free car parking was included. Extra large bed was also great

I paid for accommodation for one night and went. I stayed at that gate for two hours. They sent me the code and the gate wouldn't open. You are not serious. I want you to send me my money back. I paid and you didn't offer me accommodation. You are very serious. Pure insensitivity.

Absolutely loved our stay, great apartment, great location will definitely stay again.

Arrival instructions were clear with car parking close by, location was perfect and apartment had pretty much everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Absolutely perfect for a couple and such a great price in comparison to other accommodation would definitely stay again. The windows were double glazed but was 30c when we were there so had to have open and there was some noise as you would expect for a lively Saturday night but nothing once windows were closed. Double bed in the bedroom was super comfy and the room was a good size with blackout curtains affording a great nights sleep in the middle of summer. Fan provided.

Although the apartment was a good size, well equipped and perfect for 2 people, there were 4 adults in our party (as stated in our booking) which made the apartment a lot smaller with all our bags etc. Whilst there is a sofa bed in the living room it is not one that pulls out of a sofa but one of the clic-clac style which are a very small double and quite hard. Would have been good for 2 children.

Great place, but you need patience to gain access.

Lovely accommodation, roadworks in the city made it a little difficult to find, but city centre location is good overall. I was able to book last minute and the room was in great condition

There's a lot of lock boxes and codes required, the instructions for getting into the building were easy enough to follow, but the instructions for the car park caused confusion for me and my partner and I bumped into another guest who also had issues in the car park.

Great location but apartment needs attention

Bed was spotlessly clean and the location was perfect for us to walk to Piece Hall.

Workmen in our room on arrival, although the owner did move us rooms promptly. Used sponge on sink. Dirty windows. Couldn’t open windows to get air in the room, so very stuffy. The small gate in the car park didn’t work. Fridge wasn’t plugged in and we’d brought refrigerated food with us. Dirty spoons in the drawer so had to wash them before eating breakfast. The shower was either boiling hot or freezing.

Location and price not bad but the place needs attention.

Quite long-winded. Lock box to get fob to open car park gate (fob didn't work), code to use personal gate to get into car park then lock box again for another fob (did work). Code to get into building then lock box for key to apartment.

Place needs better dusting, e.g. dust on breakfast table. Also needs a lot of maintenance: legs on one of dining chairs loose, no hot water in kitchen sink (perhaps something needs switching on but no instructions), no terrestrial TV e.g. for news (again may be possible but no instructions), toilet seat loose, shower head connection to hold it up broken (just about usable), extractor fan not working, lamp in bedroom not working, handle on inside of front door very loose. Details say there's a washing machine; where?? Lighting is fairly dim, especially in bedroom.

Place was so unclean we booked a different hotel as we have a newborn we could not trust it was safe

Completely misleading pictures, place is utterly run down with peeling wallpaper, smashed sink, broken parking gate as well as laundry left in the washing machine, fries under the sofa and hair everywhere as if it’s not been hoovered. They also neglect to mention that although it might be noisy at the weekend because of normal weekend revelry its actually more than likely because of the constant homeless outside the building due to the two off-licenses one of which is 24hr. I can’t comment on how we slept as I have a 9 week old newborn and the place was so dirty I had to book somewhere else to stay.

Great value for money and really comfortable

It had really nice decor, comfy bed and nice lounge and kitchen area. Parking was nice and secure and in public view so I knew my car was safe.

Not related to the property itself, there were a few unsavoury characters hanging around the streets within the vicinity, I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying here when it is darker at night. As I said not related to the property, more of a location / town issue.

Was a little bit tricky getting with with several codes etc... Also a lot of outside noise during the night from nightclub, but not sure there is anything that could be done about that.

Good place for a short stay

The apartment was small but clean and well equipped, it was right in the centre of Halifax so it was easy to get around. It was ideal for the couple of nights that we stayed.The host was very helpful . Free parking close by was very handy. Would stay here again.

As the weather was hot we needed to have the windows open so there was quite a lot of noise from the bars until 4.30.am one night, although soft earplugs are provided by the host and apparently double glazing is to be fitted.

Great place to stay

Really close to the town centre, the apartment was clean and well kept, nice and modern with all the basics needed. The owners were very responsive and really helpful throughout our stay. We would certainly stay again.

The only issue we had was the signal strength of the WiFi which was a problem for both using the internet and the smart TV in the apartment.

The location was great very close to the centre. The apartment had all the facilities you needed and was very clean.

The noise at night was loud, they kindly provided ear plugs which helped, and they are going to fit triple glazing at some point. There were long instructions, but they weren't that clear.

The location is amazing with easy check in nice and spacious inside what was perfect to unwind after being busy on my feet all day and I have a really bad back problems the beds are very comfortable with clean linen .... definitely the best stay i have had in halifax
