Nicely renovated space. Close to the port and walking distance to various good restaurants, coffee spots, and shops.

We were really looking forward to our stay after reading all the other reviews. Unfortunately we did not get what we expected. First I'll mention some things that no one else has in their reviews. There are many steps to get up to the apartment- this wasn't the end of the world but for someone older or not in the best shape it may be a bit tough on a hot day. There is no air conditioner in the bedroom, just a fan. Everyone mentions how clean the home is, but we had a different experience (see pictures). It was not a great start or end to our 4 day holiday. Paying customers expect cleanliness, not a cleaning lady to unexpectedly come scold them during their stay over her own incompetence. We will return to the island, but not to this home. Will not be recommending it to any of our Greek or foreign friends either. For those who want the details: When we arrived we noticed the bathroom mat in front of the shower had hair on it, like it wasn't cleaned. We thought gross but ok, we'll put a towel down over it. Then as we prepared for bed I noticed the sheets were full of hairs, most likely from an animal (the home is pet friendly and we even brought our yorkshire puppy, which is a breed that does not shed). We found clean sheets and changed them, and we let the manager/host know. They apologized. We were happy to move on from this and enjoy our holiday. It was not a big deal until our last full day there. We decided to stay inside for the afternoon as it was hotter than usual that day and around noon we hear a knock on the door- I asked who it was in Greek and without any answer we see a lady open the door with her own key and let herself in. Fortunately my partner and I were dressed. She was the cleaning lady and said she needed to get the iron- there was no prior communication that she would arrive. Once she got the iron she asked with an attitude if we were the ones who complained about the hairs. I calmly said Yes, the sheets were full of them.
