Thank you to Babbis and Lia for being such wonderful hosts - there to help but never intrusive. The villa was perfect for the two of us with a barbecue and lovely areas to sit. Loved the view from the bedroom terrace, particularly at night with the view of the lights in Skopelos Town. Would say that the walk to town is, maybe, a little bit more than 10 minutes! But is's all downhill and only 5 euros for a taxi back if you don't fancy the walk. Lots of lovely beaches and if you get a chance book on the wooden yacht trip from the harbour. Loved Skopelos - we shall be back x

We had a very enjoyable week here, it was as it says cozy, surrounded by fruit trees in a large garden area but also near to the town. We had a car and found it central for exploring many local beaches and in fact much of the island. Skopelos is such a stunning island with lush hills. We also found the town had a very nice feel without being too touristy. It was always relaxing to get back though to a country style, self contained peaceful house. Plenty of room even in a whopping thunderstorm one day.We loved the sunny(well mostly) upstairs balcony with great views. Very friendly hosts who were always happy to help.

We loved to stay in Skopelos and in this beautifull house. We liked to be independent from everything, nobody disturbed us. We could enjoy the silence, confort and peace in the same time having a perfect rest. I can suggest for everybody. The owners are helpfull and really very kind. We had the best holiday ever!! :)

We spent 12 days on beautiful Skopelos island and loved our house on the hill overlooking the town. The balcony off the upstairs bedroom afforded us a spectacular view of the town and its port and the surrounding mountains, all over the tops of the numerous olive trees around the house. The house was clean and well-furnished, with some beautiful pieces crafted by our host, Babbis, who is a carpenter with a shop in town. Our hosts, Thaleia (who also has a clothing and gift shop in town) and Babbis were warm and friendly and helpful, whether it came to recommending restaurants, beaches, or hikes in the surrounding mountains. Skopelos town is a short walk and even shorter drive away, and there is free parking in the port, so one can easily spend a late evening in town and get home in no time. Nevertheless, we used our kitchen frequently so we wouldn't have to eat out constantly and enjoyed slow evenings on the living room sofa or up on the balcony watching the sun set and the stars come out. The house is equipped with air conditioning, but the breezes up on the hill kept the house cool so we never had to use it. To conclude, we highly recommend this house for both long and short stays on the island of Skopelos.
