    The area was excellent but when check in you cannot leave your luggage free of charge if you arrive early even just in the front desk. Also no free water on the room we book. the toilet bowl was visible since the glass was clear the sticker was place wrong.

    Made the mistake of booking a place at Chungking Mansions so I had to move here last minute. I didn’t expect HK hotel prices to be this unreasonable. But Hop Inn is the most decent hotel you can get around this price range. The room needs a bit more cleaning (I don’t think they ever wiped the windows and changed the curtains). But the location is great. So if you intend to stay out most of the day and only need a place to shower and sleep, Hop Inn would be a reasonable choice.
