Velar of the Sea Cruise

Wow where do I begin. Firstly upon arrival I realised I left our passports at the last hotel which was 30 minutes away. Luckily we met Flora who greeted us with a genuine warm friendly smile and helped me converse with our wonderful Grab driver Mr. Hung and arranged with the hotel to have our passsports picked up and delivered upon our return from our 3 day cruise. Although Flora was very busy at the time with checking passengers in she completely pit us at ease with her manner and constant reassurance. On the Tender boat out to our ship Vinny was a very funny man and filled us all in on our upcoming cruise. Very knowledgable and funny. Julie our restaurant manager came and introduced herself to us and reassured us if there was anything at all we needed or weren't happy with she would help us. She was truly wonderful and you could see the way she ran the restaurant at all meal siitings it was a very well oiled machine. Julie, unbeknown to us also arranged a very special celebration dinner for our 2nd anniversary and made us feel that little extra special on the night. A big thank you to Julie for that. (We couldn't get her to sing Karaoke though, maybe next time) All the staff on the cruise were truly amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them, but a special mention has to go to Selena an absolutely beautiful waitress, who worked tirelessly and ever so efficient. She truly is a credit to the team. Last of all we can't go without mentioning HAILEY OMG where do we begin with Hailey. She has a wonderful relaxed but yet very professional manner that put us at ease about everything we did. She is very funny and the way she goes about her work, you can she she absolutely loves her job and meeting new people. After meeting Hailey it is like we just made a new friend. Truly wonderful manner. keep up the good work To all at Velar staff you all do an amazing job and we can see how hard you all work and make us guests feel very comfortable.

3 days was not long enough

The staterooms were very spacious and elegant. The stash reads amazing and very accommodating. They took care of our every need. The tours were so much fun and interesting. The food was delicious and plentidul. I would definitely book again.

Very comfy, very clean and stunning views all around. Itinerary is very good and was worth the trip!
