We liked the location of the house. We also liked that we could use the kitchen facilities and the size of the apartment. It was huge.
The house itself was on the "grubby" side. This house was large with (we think) 4 large apartments. The surrounding area had some of the nicest and grandest homes you will find anywhere, but this place had the look of a condemned property. The windows had peeling paint with insulation hanging down. The back stairs were closed to us with what looked like trash at the bottom. Beehives around the windows,; floors stained; curtains that looked like bedspreads.
