This well-appointed, charming 1-BR apartment features a very quiet bedroom with a queen size bed, premium 400-threadcount linens, a separate sitting / living room with a fold-out couch, a full kitchen with dining for four, and a full bathroom.
Located in one of Decatur's best neighborhoods (Winnona Park), it is 1/4 mile from Agnes Scott College and a 15-minute walk from downtown Decatur Square. Downtown Atlanta is about 15-20 minutes by car, and access to public transport is easy too: a bus leaves literally 100 feat from the property and takes 2 minutes (2 stops) to the downtown Decatur MARTA train station.
The apartment is in a separate structure from the main house, atop a 2-car garage in the back of a large lot. It also has a large deck with gas grill for BBQ and outdoor seating for four, in midst trees and lots of green. Very quiet, very privat and suitable for singles, romantic getaways, traveling with children (a well-stocked library has over 100 books, as well as dozens of kids titles), or long-term rentals. The full kitchen has a full gas stove and oven, large fridge, coffee maker (com,mentally Starbucks coffee and organic teas) and all utensils, plates, silver- and glassware for four people.

We loved our stay at Daniel’s in Decatur and absolutely recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Atlanta. Incredible value for a sweet, comfortable spot.

I wish I’d had a place like this when I was in college. Small, one-bedroom with a sitting room and a spacious full kitchen. It’s right on the main drag, walkable to Downtown Decatur (if you like walking like I do!) but drivable to I-20. It’s older and is in the process of getting upgraded, but it has what you need for a cozy home away from home. We rented for the parent orientation at Agnes Scott...perfect home base for the 2 of us while getting our Scottie settled in. I slept so well those 2 days! Don’t be scared of the one window AC unit...it’s enough to keep it comfortable in the dog days of August. Got to meet the owner as he popped by to make sure we were getting settled all right. Next time I need to visit Decatur for a couple of days I would definitely rent again!
