The apartment is just perfect! Spacieous, clean, well-equipped, easy reach and even has a garage - which is a “must” in Madeira as you’ll need to rent a car to well discover the island.

The accommodation is in a very quiet location and has a fantastic view of the city of Funchal (not only from the balcony, but also from two bedrooms). The three bedrooms upstairs are spacious and offer plenty of room for everything. There are two bathrooms upstairs, each with a toilet and shower. A guest toilet is located in the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped, offering ample space and more than enough dishes and cutlery. Hand towels, bath towels, and tea towels are provided, as well as shower gel, soap, and dish soap. The landlord is easy to deal with, very friendly, and contacted us promptly after booking, remaining readily available via WhatsApp. He sent us all the necessary information via WhatsApp a few days before our departure, including details on how to access the house and information about Madeira and its activities and attractions. He also arranged for someone to show us around the accommodation upon our arrival. It takes about 20 minutes to walk into town, and it's all downhill. A taxi back would cost about 6-7 euros. The airport is about 15 minutes away by car. You can easily park your car under cover at the accommodation. Thank you for everything, including the kind gesture of the welcome gift in the basket and the lovely message with the sweet present from the children. I highly recommend it. Thank you!
