Looks great—but very difficult.
The location was nice—except I didn’t realize it was on a street you couldn’t drive to so you need to park in a garage 8 minutes away and haul your luggage through cobblestone streets. I just wish i knew that when I booked.
The toilet wouldn’t flush at all. The beds are so uncomfortable and hard. They dip where bodies go. There are no chairs in the rooms…super minimalist. I had to check in before 8:00 pm and checkout was at 10:30. No food at location. When I went to get my bag after walking around the city, they said there wasn’t a bathroom anywhere for me to use. Overall—looks cool and very chic vibe but super uncomfortable and inconvenient.

Great location, but loud music playing all day from retail courtyard
Location fantastic - bed very comfortable, breakfast was lovely - served in a cafe in the courtyard, good shower, check in good
Rooms facing the courtyard are very noisy as loud music plays all day in the courtyard area which has a cafe and shops - rooms are very modern and minimalism design over function - there are no tables, desk or dresser or chairs anywhere to put things - not easy for travellers!

Incredibly stylish yet relaxed and welcoming in the buzzing heart of beautiful Arezzo. Fantastic interiors and amazing bar downstairs where you take breakfast. Also part of the hotel is about the most fantastic fashion store I’ve ever experienced.
Only one thing: almost no storage space in the room, either for clothes or for other items. Nowhere either in the room or downstairs to serve as even a small desk (let alone dressing table). A very odd omission given how stunning and comfortable the place is otherwise.

Can't wait to stay at Sugar Rooms again!
The room was gorgeous, so historic with an excellent huge bed. Breakfast was delicious, a choice of brioche or pizza breads in the cafe on the main floor. The manager could not have been nicer. He was very responsive to any questions and assisted us with all needs. The location was the best in Arezzo.
Patrons of the nearby shops would congregate and smoke in the breakfast area. We learned to go down for breakfast after 10 am.
