Good location for us to walk the Wye valley Although not many places open to eat so we ended up cooking at home. Very good kitchen and well equipped. Wasn’t the owners responsibility about pubs etc so we’re not blaming them just making a general comment.
We only used the bedrooms and the kitchen didn’t use the sitting rooms. The water in the upstairs bathroom wasn’t very hot or strong so we weren’t able to have a bath. We only used the downstairs shower.

It was spacious, comfortable, well equipped and in a great location.
Cleanliness of the property wasn’t at a good standard in some areas, especially in the kitchen. Some floors were not fully cleaned, kitchen equipment was dirty and surfaces had not been wiped down properly. The cleanliness of the bedrooms however were good.

The location in town was ideal for us as were the restaurant recommendations of the host. Excellent kitchen dining room and two very comfortable lounges. The house was beautifully clean. All four long retired motor bikers had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
The house is laid out on four floors with rather steep stairs between floor three and four, only manageable with care.
