A great place to stay - with a few things to look out for, though
We stayed there for a week and loved the place. It feels like staying at your friends' house. We could check in earlier which was a great advantage and collected the keys at the office. Every single person we contacted during our stay was remarkably kind and went out of their way to provide satisfying answers to our questions - they were even prepared to help us deal with the fuse box.
The apartment is really spacious and could easily accommodate a family of 4-5; there's a huge bed in the bedroom, a sofa bed in the living room and a separate bedroom with a single (child size) bed. For travelers with kids, there's Stokke's Tripp Trapp chair and plenty of toys available. We had no problems with WiFi and TV availability. The apartment is remarkably well furnished and we had no problem cooking there or drying out clothes (there's tumble dryer in the kitchen, def. comes in handy during rainy days). They provide towels and cosmetics.
The area is very quiet and the neighbours that we stumbled upon were very kind. It takes around 20-30 minutes on foot to reach Canal Grande.
As much as we loved the stay, there are two things I wish I knew beforehand. These are in no way disadvantages or things we didn't like, I just think it's useful for other people to consider them before booking.
- This area of Trieste is really hilly and by hilly I mean get ready for a steep climb. It could be problematic if you struggle with limited mobility, arrive with heavy luggage or plan on walking instead of taking a taxi. There is one bus that runs nearby and I recommend taking it to get to the city centre.
- When we tried to close the door for the night it turned out that even when completely closed, the door can be opened ajar (there is a door guard in place). I asked the staff about it and they told me it was fine and completely safe - I did not feel 100% comfortable knowing that any person could press the handle and crack the door open.
The one issue we encountered and ultimately resolved ourselves - the floor was dirty. Not a bit dirty, it was dirty in the sticky way. When we cleaned the floor, the water suggested it hasn't been properly cleaned in some time.

Schöne Altbauwohnung in ruhiger Lage nahe am Stadtzentrum
Die Altbauwohnung liegt in einer sehr schönen, ruhigen und hügeligen Wohngegend. Zu Fuß erreicht man in 10 Minuten die Innenstadt und kann alles zu Fuß erledigen. Zum Bahnhof gelangt man mit einer Buslinie ohne Umsteigen zu müssen.
Die Wohnung selbst ist gut ausgestattet und bietet alles für einen gelungenen und erholsamen Ferienaufenthalt. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich die sehr gute Bäckerei „Panificio Pasticceria Giovini Moreno“ die auch Sandwiches zubereitet. Mit einem Espresso und einer Süßspeise startet man dort in den Tag.

es war alles in allem sehr schön und angenehm
wunderschöne Wohnung, großzügig angelegt, sehr hell, gute Dusche, gute Heizung, sehr ruhig, schöne Gegend, sehr angenehm,
nicht sehr sauber, wir haben ein bisschen gestöhnt (elderly ladies), weil es steil bergauf ging und die Infrastruktur (Lebensmittel, Cafes) eine kleine Tour (auf und ab) erforderten. und die Ausstattung in der Küche war etwas sehr bescheiden: Gläser, Tassen, Besteck.

Entspannt und ohne viel Rummel, da in einer ruhigen Wohngegend gelegen.
Die Lage war sehr zentral und mit der nahen Busstation könnte man jeden Bereich von Triest erreichen.
Eine Klimaanlage wäre von Vorteil gewesen. Sonst waren wir sehr zufrieden. 4 Personen können hier entsprechend Urlaub machen.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad maar het appartement was lastig bereikbaar en veel te warm binnen.
De ruimte van het apartement.
De locatie is slecht bereikbaar voor oudere mensen. Het zijn erg steile wegen die je moet nemen om er te komen. Dat ging met veel moeite (ik ben een senior). Gelukkig stopte er een bus in de buurt maar ook om daar te komen moet je steile wegen op en af. Dit zou op de site vermeld moeten worden.
Het was zo warm toen wij er waren dat het apartement heel warm was en er niet voldoende verkoeling was. We vroegen om een ventilator voor de slaapkamer, maar die kregen we niet omdat er een (mobiele) airco stond. Maar deze kon niet voldoende koelen in het appartement
We vroegen bij de receptie om schone handdoeken. Die konden we, tegen betaling, bij de receptie komen ophalen. We hebben de handdoeken dan maar in het appartement gewassen en gedroogd. Gelukkig kon dat!

Ottimo appartamento in tranquillo quartiere residenziale
Ottimo appartamento in edificio signorile, ben restaurato e confortevole, dotato di tutti gli accessori necessari per un soggiorno senza pensieri, consegnatoci in ordine e pulitissimo.
Situato a
pochi minuti a piedi da piazza Unità d'Italia e vicino ad altri siti di interesse, fermata autobus nelle vicinanze.
Check in negli uffici dell' organizzazione a poca distanza dalla stazione ferroviaria con personale professionale, preciso ed empatico.
Prenderò sicuramente in considerazione per un altro eventuale soggiorno a Trieste.

schöne, saubere, ruhige und geräumige Wohnung
alles sehr easy, schlüssel holt man bei der Rezeption ab, die Wohnung war super sauber, mit viel Platz und sehr ruhig, ein bisschen höher gelegen, aber 10min von der Innenstadt. schöne Umgebung, wir waren hier über Ostern und es war sehr ruhig, Ausstattung auch super.

Perfekt für einen Kurzurlaub in Triest im Frühling!
Charmante, schön sanierte Altbauwohnung in hübschem Viertel! Sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Wir hatten Glück und haben bei der Anreise sogar einen Parkplatz vor der Tür bekommen. Aber Achtung: die Straße ist ziemlich schmal! Zu Fuß kommt man schnell zum Hafen und in die Altstadt. Für uns war alles perfekt!

Per me non è stato un problema ma occorre segnalare una certa distanza dal centro e la posizione collinare ancorché ci siano linee di bus che servono la zona.

Proprio tutto, Trieste Reception ha un team professionale eccellente, compreso il bravissimo manutentore, sempre presenti, appartamento di livello assoluto.
Nessuna nota negativa. Per il parcheggio bisogna armarsi di un pó di pazienza, ma in giro si trova.
