We had a lovely stay at Culloden Stables and couldn’t fault the experience. The place was very cosy and comfortable, and you immediately feel at home. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional from start to finish, which made our stay even better. The accommodation was spotless and well cared for — you can really tell they take pride in cleanliness and guest comfort. Set in the beautiful Culloden area of Inverness, it’s peaceful and perfect for relaxing after a long day. Thank you to the whole team for your kindness and great service. We truly appreciate it and would happily recommend Culloden Stables to anyone visiting the area.

Regular public transport nearby to Inverness City and surrounding areas. Accommodation had everything we needed for a weeks stay.

There is nothing to dislike. However, be careful with the mixer tap in the shower as the water is HOT!

The location was great! Off the beaten track - very private. Quiet location and plenty of room for the 2 of us. The entire unit was clean, well prepared for guests, and was a joy for us to borrow for the night. Everything was A+++

Lovely apartment in historic building

Lovely and clean, great shower, well-equipped, easy check in, lovely surrounds, historical building. The Gruffalo sculptures nearby were a hit with the kids :)

Dated and in need of upgrading.

Convenient location not far from A9 which is handy for early start to get further north. Check in instructions very clear.

Found the two pairs of well worn slippers inside the front door very off-putting. Who did they belong to? Was someone else going to be in the property? All was well but set the wrong tone. We found the sofa in sitting room very hard and uncomfortable. The lack of side lamps meant needed to use the stark overhead lights. Kitchen very dated with damaged units giving the impression of being shabby and less hygienic than desired. Worn and stained carpet through the property.

Great accommodations - homey feel

These accommodations are very homey and comfortable. The place is well-appointed and comfortable. The beds are super comfortable and the location was great for getting to Culloden Battlefield. I wish we'd had more time in the neighborhood, as we were told there are highland cows nearby and nice walking areas.

The washer/dryer combo was kind of a bust. We put one load in before going for dinner and despite putting the dryer on several times overnight, our clothes were still soaked by the time we had to leave. If we'd had more time, we could have hung clothes out, but we were on a tight timeline.

Great stay in the stable :)

Super friendly host nice facility with historical significance. Host came over right away to fix a small problem. There were hairy coos in the field right behind the place.

Great location, clean apartment

We chose this for its location to Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns and it was perfect. We arrived late and left early- the checkin in/out was easy. The owner sent all the info for finding the place and the keys (with pictures). It was very clean and spacious.

The washer/dryer machine needs directions. The washer is fine, but figuring out the dryer settings to actually get your clothes dry was a challenge. We finally found some online. The cycles are LONG- so plan for 4-6 hours for one load from washing to dry. The wifi is password protected and there was no password anywhere in the apartment. I had to request it.

Absolutely amazing with fabulous bed!

This is an absolute gem of a place. It was easy to find the key. The bed is AMAZING. One of the best night away we ever had sleeping. The apartment is clean and cozy. The host goes above and beyond. You won’t be sorry you booked this.

Culloden Stables perfect!

This apartment is part of a small block of renivated stables. Beautifully presented property. Everything that we needed was there. Comfy bed, fresh clean bedding, new white towels, toiletries etc. Very quiet location on edge of Inverness. 10 minute walk to Blacksmiths pub. Kitchen- very well equipped, full size cooker, microwave, washer/dryer. All crockery/cutlery looked new. Good quality saucepans. Table and chairs. Everything was exceptional. Would definately recommend. A little more pricey but so very worth it. 15 mins from beautiful Nairn Beach.

Nothing really to dislike, maybe some outside space would have been nice.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig etwas außerhalb von Inverness (ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto in die Innenstadt). In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden und vorbereitet.
