In 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß an einem kleinen ruhigen schönen Kiesstrand. Brasserie und Restaurant sind authentisch und sehr gut.

Leider hatten wir vom Vermieter keine Information bekommen, dass nebenan eine Baustelle ist, deren Baulärm (besonders früh) den Urlaub sehr beeinträchtigt hat. Die Wohnung liegt in einem relativ großen Mietshaus und leider sind die Mieter des direkten Nachbarbalkons starke Raucher.

The apartment was reasonably well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. However.....

.....instantly on arrival the apartment had a stale, musty smell as soon as we opened the door. We soon discovered it was likely from the seats of the dining area chairs which had long-term engrained stains. You really didn't want to sit on them. They should have been thrown away years ago. The sofa had a cigarette burn and scuff marks at the back. Many of the other faults we found could be solved so easily by the owners actually leaving relevant information in the apartment such as: 1. Where to empty the bins 2. The WiFi code 3. The switch for the main room electronic blinds (it took us 20 minutes to find it - a simple label on it would have helped because it was nowhere near the window). It's true that each time I messaged the management company they responded quickly, but it was annoying to have to do this after a long journey. The apartment is dark and dingy - you need to have lights on during the day. It directly overlooks the playground of a primary school and there are building sites on either side of it, so not the quietest location. It was reasonably well equipped except that there was an iron but no ironing board. It just reinforces the lack of attention to detail. From reading previous reviews I don't think we experienced the same apartment as others because had I known what I know now I would never have booked it.
