The location is the biggest advantage of this apartment. The main bus station is just around the corner, the Aiguille du Midi cable car and the train station are only about a 5-minute walk away, and even the police station is on the ground floor of the building, which makes the area feel safe. Chamonix itself is an incredible destination, and simply staying in such a beautiful place made the trip enjoyable.

The apartment gave the impression that someone lives there permanently rather than it being a rental. There were leftover items, partially used shower gels and other toiletries from previous guests, as well as extra phone chargers and many personal household items. Instead of feeling welcoming, it felt cluttered and untidy. The overall cleanliness could be improved: there were cobwebs in the corners, the worn wooden interior made it difficult to feel that everything was truly clean, and the bedding was a dark color. In my opinion, white bed linen is much more appropriate for rental accommodation because it gives guests confidence that it is fresh and hygienic. I chose this apartment because of its excellent location, not because of the apartment itself.

Location of the property made it convenient for hiking. All the basics were there.

Some things could use a bit of updating in the bathroom, but generally everything worked fine and was clean.
