Location, cleanliness and very friendly staff

The bed was very comfortable and the towels were soft and plentiful! The room and bathroom were clean and the little contact we had with management was pleasant. Very efficient check-in and check-out.
The property was dated - beyond rustic, but I guess that's why the price was so reasonable. Our unit was right next to the road, so we had a lot of road noise at all hours of the night (road to Cadillac Mtn).

The location was great and close to Acadia Park and only about 8 miles into Town and about 3-4 miles into the Village of Bar Harbor. Again, location was everything good about this trip. The cottage, though old, was kept clean and the bed was comfortable. And, they allowed dogs for a fee and a cleaning fee.
The property was aging and the cottage itself was aged and not well kept, although clean. No air conditioning for hot days.
