About this apartment hotel
This our gorgeous family home in Northeast Harbor. We are located just a quick 10 minute walk to all the downtown shops, restaurants, library and grocery store. Right down the road from the Northeast Harbor Golf Course and the Swimming Club. We are 20 minute drive from Bar Harbor, and the quiet side of Southwest Harbor & Trement. The Island explorer will provide free bus rides which you can pick up right in town-please check local papers or online for details. There is a three car garage which is useful for keeping your cars cool in the summer time and to store all your bikes and accessories that you might bring with you. There is a bike rental right in town Northeast Harbor, Bar Harbor, or Southwest Harbor.
First floor is the perfect open plan with the kitchen, living room & dining room all open for easy entertaining. You'll find a spacious office & a pantry directly off the kitchen as well as the laundry room right down the hall. Off the dining room is the french doors that open up to the patio where you'll find plenty of seating. A Gas grill is provided out on the deck for easy grilling. For all those chilly night we have a beautiful granite fireplace floor to ceiling. Firewood is provided in the garage. Directly off the living room is the master bedroom with king bed, walk in closet and a jetted tub with separate shower.
2nd floor has one large bedroom which has a king size bed with a portable crib as well. There is a sitting room with two chairs and a full bath right off this room.
3rd floor (up 5 steps) has two bedrooms. One has a queen bed and the other has two twins & a queen bed. Plenty of space for all the kiddos to have slumber parties.
All bedrooms have AC units and there is one large AC in the living room. ALL windows and doors must be closed for the AC's to work properly.
Basement is off limits and will be locked for owners use only.

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious, clean, and welcoming home. It was great to have a garage space to keep our kayaks and gear in. Everything was within a 2-30 minute drive. Loved that the kitchen had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Staying at this property elevated our wonderful experience in Acadia National Park. The first thing you notice is it is Exceptionally clean, spacious, comfortable and Extremely well equipped for those of us who enjoy preparing meals at home.
Heather is such a gracious host. She communicated everything we needed to know about check-in and checkout ahead of our visit as well as interesting places to visit.

House was spacious and updated, plenty of room to spread out. Our big van even fit in the garage. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and games. Having two washing machines was a plus. The owner sent an immediate response to a question. It was easily accessible to everywhere we wanted to go in Acadia National Park.

We’ll worth the drive and cost to secure two weeks of quietness with my family after a long year of craziness. The only complaint I would state is that the air conditioner units are antiquated and therefore quite loud when they were turned on and had to be used. Otherwise I was extremely pleased and more importantly relaxed (!) the entire time.
