Lovely guy running the hostel, who also runs a restaurant on the same premises. If you're not eating in the restaurant, it's nice that you can get some instant noodles or frozen meals from the little honesty shop setup in the hostel - great touch! You can get discount entry at the nearby (tattoo friendly) onsen at check too. Nice little town that it's situated within, with that classic remote Japanese town vibe. Definitely recommend!

Slightly confusing setup with the shower, which had a sticker in the bathroom saying it required extra payment, but wasn't mentioned during check in - some extra clarity on this would be great, however we showered at the onsen so it was not required.

小物やちょっとしたスキンケア関係、軽食などのサービスもあり楽しい宿でした。

暑かった日でもありお部屋にエアコンは必要ないが冷風機などあればよいかなと…。
