Edgewater 82- floor to ceiling glass doors

The property is in a great location. It overlooks the beach and is a quick walk to the water. It was clean.

There was nothing glaringly bad about the property. However, when we arrived the light bulbs in the kitchen did not work. The balcony overlooking the water is mostly closed in with sliding glass doors. This might be great in winter but in summer it is not ideal. With the doors closed it is very hot and humid. When opened, it still feels more like you are inside the house with windows open rather than out on a balcony. Just a personal preference but other places we have stayed are fully open and much more enjoyable at night. The unit was clean but it looked kind of old and somewhat worn. It could use a spruce up. Finally, I always appreciate units with extras like beach gear. While this unit had some, the chairs were old and rusty and the umbrella was broken.

The location was excellent. Very easy to get in and out of and the perfect distance from most places we wanted to try out! We arrived early and did not expect the condo to be ready but they let us check in a little early since it was ready.

The unit location in Gulf Shores was great. The unit is a good size. The weather was great during this time of year.

The pictures of the unit online look better than the unit itself. The furniture is old and worn. There is a big hole behind the toilet in the master bath and the toilet had a leak. The management company sent a plumber to fix the leak.
