About this apartment rental
Relax in the tranquility of this 1803 house, surrounded by nature (5 ha of garden/forest), just 4 mns from Pont-Audemer (the Venice of Normandy, so aptly named with its many canals, with 2 markets per week). Honfleur is a 30 mns drive away, and Deauville 40 mns.
The house was bought after the French Revolution by an ancestor of mine.
You have a private terrace with a BBQ and a large private garden, and access to the rest of the property : an orchad, an apple-tree plantation, lawns with rhododendrons and azaleas. There are paths in my forest which I shall glady show you.
Your 2-room flat with kitchenette (31 sq.m) is newly renovated. Free parking. The bed is 160 cm wide and the top-rated Emma mattress is new.
There is an old cider press, an impressive piece of industrial kit, which I would be delighted to show you. My father made cider in this facility until the seventies, and prior to that my great uncle was a Calvados distiller.
