Wonderful unusual house and gorgeous garden. We had a very happy stay here. Sufficient equipment for cooking family meals. Not much close by, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet very much, and the vending machine/farm shop just down the road was amazing!

The charming property is well maintained and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The garden with its pond is a pretty place. Our only problem was the traffic noise from the passing D87. Other may not notice this - but at home we live in a very quiet rural setting. Apart form that - excellent.

Our hosts were so helpful and welcoming! The Colombier had everything you could possibly wish for. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a fantastic location. Loved our stay at this special and surprisingly 3 story house. Lovely host, clean house, beautiful spacious garden en friendly neighbours! This part of France is very picture perfect, we loved touring around. This said, you do need a car to get around. Very well equipped kitchen for home cooking. Small point of criticism, email communication prior to our stay was a bit confusing, written in French only and I was surprised there were some additional cost.

This beautiful house is the perfect place for a holiday. It has been decorated with exquisite taste, quiet, very clean, spacious. The garden and its surroundings is like a fairy tale, and there is everything you need. The owners are very friendly people, we enjoyed our stay very much and we certainly would like to come back. What a clever use of space, both inside and outside of the house. The heatwave meant that the garden became as important as the house. And what a garden, complete with pond, frogs, lily pads and visiting ducklings, and plenty of places to sit in the shade! The top of the house became very hot but the fan provided meant that the nights were comfortable.

Amazing accommodation - just like staying in a fairy tale

This property is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing holiday. Le Pigeonnier was extremely clean, tidy, and very well equipped enabling us to cook delicious local produce. We enjoyed spending time in the garden overlooking the orchard or by the pond. We fell in love with Honfleur and also visited Rouen - both within very easy reach. We hope to visit again and will recommend this property to friends without hesitation. Thank you both for a lovely holiday

Es war alles Top! Wir haben die Zeit in der Natur sehr genossen. Die kleinen Ausflugsziele sind gut zu erreichen mit dem Auto. Ein kleines Minus für das zweite Doppelbett. Das ist groß genug für zwei Kinder unter 8 Jahren.

Das märchenhafte Gebäude ist von einem sehr gepflegten, parkähnlichen Grundstück umgeben. Die Terrasse am Teich und die Fasssauna laden zur Erholung ein. Die Ausstattung der Küche und das Bad lassen keine Wünsche offen. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und doch sind viele Ausflugsziele in der Gegend gut zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett.

Merci à Mme Biot pour son accueil très chaleureux, sa disponibilité, sa discrétion etc.. Ce gîte mérite 4 étoiles. Tout confort et propreté impeccable de la cuisine en passant par le salon et enfin la chambre où nous avons l'impression de dormir comme à la belle étoile (après nous vous laissons imaginer). Très belle décoration. Le sauna en forme de fût très bien pensé car nous sommes en Normandie. Location très calme. Pas très loin de tous commerces ainsi que des villes côtières et des plages. Nous recommandons "vivement" cette location et nous y retournerons. Encore merci à Mme Biot. Corinne et Philippe.

Wir waren das erste Mal in der Normandie und fanden die Wahl des Ferienortes sehr gut zum Erkunden der Gegend. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und interessante Orte sind in einer angemessenen Zeit zu erreichen. Das Fereinhaus und der Garten sind wundervoll angelegt und mit Liebe eingerichtet, man hat sich schon bei der Ankunft sofort wohl gefühlt. Die sprachlicher Barriere ließ sich relativ schnell überwinden und eine Kommunikation war jederzeit möglich. Die Fotos und die Beschreibung des Objektes entsprachen der Realität. Fazit: ein wirkliches Kleinod, sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Taubenturm sehr genossen und können diese ungewöhnliche Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Die Bilder versprechen nicht zu viel, das Haus ist sauber und gepflegt und der tolle Garten bietet vielfältige Möglichkeiten zum Verweilen. Die Kommunikation mit dem freundlichen Vermieter funktionierte einwandfrei. Leider ist das Inserat hinsichtlich der zusätzlichen Kosten nicht transparent genug. Die 60,- EUR Endreinigungskosten kamen für uns überraschend hinzu.

Het is een mooie Gite met zowel binnen als buiten veel ruimte. De koien komen een paar keer per dag langs. Het is zo mooi als op de foto's te zien is. De sauna is geweldig. Je kan hier lekker ontspannen en goed tot rust komen. Perfect gelegen om zowel de kust als de abdij van jumièges te bezoeken, maar ook om de prachtige stad Rouen te ontdekken. Echte aanrader als je van een rustige vakantie houdt.

Der Urlaub war in unserem verschlafenen Alten Turm super erholsam und wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Wenn man Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist dieses Haus genau richtig. Allerdings muss man sich Darauf einstellen viel Auto zu fahren, da das Haus doch sehr abgelegen liegt und somit nichts ohne Auto zu erreichen ist. Ansonsten ist alles an dem Grundstück und Haus top. Ich würde wieder hin fahren :)

Das sehr besondere Haus liegt wie beschrieben in einem sehr gepflegten Garten mit Teich und Sauna. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet, es hat nichts gefehlt. In ca. einer halben Stunde ist man sowohl am Meer als auch an anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten, so dass keine Langeweile aufkommt. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein sehr entspannter und wunderschöner verwunschener Ort. Zur Küste ist es nicht ganz nah aber dafür es hier sehr ruhig, im Gegensatz zu den manchmal trubeligen Küstenorten. Die Sauna ist ein Traum. Alles sehr geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet. Sehr zu empfehlen! Dagmar

Der umgebaute Taubenschlag könnte an Rapunzel erinnert, umgehen von einem zauberhaften Garten der an Dornröschen erinnert mit einem Froschteich der vielleicht auch einen Froschkönig versteckt hält ... Einfach eine traumhafte Ferienwohnung mit extrem guten Ausstattung und sehr sehr netten Vermietern. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen - Wiederholung nicht ausgeschlossen :-)

Een rustiek onderkomen in een fraaie omgeving. Goed geoutilleerde keuken maar gelet op de bouw minder daglicht. Woonkamer goed genoeg om te verblijven. Slaapkamer op bovenverdieping sterk onder invloed van buitentemperatuur. badkamer netjes. Locatie van boiler en veroorzaken van lawaai ( eigenaar erkende het probleem) beinvloed de nachtrust negatief.

Sehr nette Vermieterin. Obwohl unser Französisch sehr schlecht ist, gab sie sich sehr viel Mühe uns alles genau zu erklären. Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum! Wir hatten aber auch viel Glück mit dem Wetter in der Normandie und konnten den wundervollen Garten richtig geniessen. In der Nähe gibt es eine gute Bäckerei und eine gute Metzgerei. Man ist aber schon auf ein Fahrzeug angewiesen. Im Turm kann es im Schlafzimmer sehr warm werden, da es nur ein Kippfenster hat. Der Boiler (ebenfalls im Schlafzimmer) macht etwas Lärm, aber es geht zum schlafen. Was ebenfalls beachtet werden sollte, die Reinigung und die Bettwäsche werden separat verrechnet, es kommen also nochmals ca. 70 Euro dazu, was wir bisher nicht kannten. Aber vermutlich ist das in Frankreich so. Ansonsten, aber absolut zu empfehlen!

Das ehemalige Taubenhaus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mein Mann und ich haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit den Fahrrädern sind wir zum Nachbarort zum Bäcker gefahren und konnten leckere Baguettes einkaufen. Das waren allerdings auch die einzigen Fahrradtouren. Radwege gibt es in der Umgebung keine. Man teilt sich die Straßen mit den Autofahrern. Ausflüge mit dem Auto haben wir fast täglich unternommen. Die Strände zwischen Étretat und Aaromanaches haben wir nacheinander aufgesucht und für die Anfahrt dorthin zwischen fünfundvierzig Minuten und zwei Stunden gebraucht. (ohne Autobahn). Es gibt aber auch gut markierte Wanderwege in der näheren Umgebung, z. B. an der Seine. Oder die Zeit auf dem großzügig angelegten Anwesen verbringen und die Ruhe genießen. Als Veganer betraten wir mit der Normandie natürlich ein Gebiet, wo das Weglassen der tierischen Produkte die Restaurants an ihre Grenzen stießen ließ „Sons Fromage, sons laît......“ Dafür war unsere Küche gut ausgestattet, so dass wir uns unsere Speisen abends selbst sehr gut zubereiten konnten. (Ein scharfes Küchenmesser mitzubringen wäre allerdings kein Nachteil gewesen) 😉 Neben einer Spülmaschine ist auch eine Waschmaschine vorhanden. Alles haben wir sauber und ordentlich vorgefunden und wir wurden von Fransçoise Biot sehr herzlich empfangen und bekamen alles gezeigt. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und können das Taubenhaus weiter empfehlen. 😃👍

Der Taubenhaus Turm war sehr sauber, die Vermieterin sehr nett. Liegt auf den Land, wer Ruhe sucht genau das richtige, die anderen brauchen immer ein Auto um die Gegend zu erkunden. Einziger Nachteil ist dass das Schlafzimmer sehr warm wird, aber man kann auf die Couch ausweichen.
