About this house rental
Nice, partly renovated holiday house/cottage for 4 people. Final cleaning included. Great area with fishing in both salt and fresh water. The holiday home is in a wooded area with 2 other cabins. Combined living room/kitchen. TV via Allente for Norwegian/Nordic TV channels and Astra1 for German and international TV channels. Internet via fiber, 50-100 Mbits. In the kitchen, there is a dishwasher, dormitory stove and 3 hotplates. 100 l. freezer in the holiday home, in addition to 100 l. freezer approx. 200 m from the holiday home. The lower bunk in the bunk bed is 120 cm wide and the upper 90 cm. 7 sqm large terrace. Swimming opportunity from the long shallow beach, 1200 m. The local area offers opportunities for trips along the fjord, hikes in forest and fields and boat trips to explore the beautiful surroundings. 7.5 km to Lysøysundet with grocer and restaurant. 1 km to Melvatnet and 3 km to Blåvatnet, with trout and char up to 3.5 kg, remember fishing license, fishing season 1 June -1. Sept. In Lysøysundet you can fish for trout and char with a rod from land and boat. Good fishing spots in the lake. Covered filleting bench with light and running water. Distance to the marina and the rental boat: 600 m. Boat for rent: 1x 18 ft Selfa with 50 Hp Evinrude-Etec, GPS/chart plotter/sonar and 3 rod holders. The owner has a payment terminal for card payments.

We recently stayed here and it was a great choice, The location was serene and perfect for outdoor activities, The kitchen was well stocked, making meal prep easy, I especially loved the covered filleting bench for our fishing catch, Will return for sure!

This place is a whole vibe! Relaxed, surrounded by nature, and the WiFi is solid too, Great for catching up on shows, The local beaches are chill for swimming, Not far from the grocery store, which is a major plus, Overall, it hits different!
