Lanting Villas

It was big and clean and secure. The lady who ran it was very kind and took care of tuk tuks for me.

It would have been great to have had some food on site in the morning but I do understand that it is the low season at the moment.

Location being a short walk into the village. Suited us for being quieter. Fabulous sea views. The room was large and comfortable with a good bathroom and air conditioning. Loved lazing in the bar right next to the sea with a lovely breeze and some comfy chairs. They served good breakfast and lunches. Short walk to village for evening meal with choice of restaurants. The pool was good for a dip to cool down. Decent sun loungers. What was great was the attention to detail here. Gardens being watered and tended to each day. The very frequent beach clean ups. Even by Luka the owner. The staff are so helpful and polite and smile all the time. Luka has decent well looked after motor bikes for hire. I borrowed mask and snorkel for free. Beach towels to borrow in the reception. Luka arranged a night time boat trip to swim with plankton. An experience I won’t forget. We loved the old rickety wooden bridge, that we walked over daily. We went for 3 nights and stayed for 5. Think that says it all.

Shame about the plastic in the sea. Not Luka fault floats in with the tide some days.

At the end of town so quiet with beautiful views from the dining area. The room was spacious with a good AC, large clean bathroom and internet TV. Nice pool and a tiny beach to set out from to snorkel. Good included breakfasts. Continue past the Villas for a jungle walk . We walked 2km and it went further. Lots of birds, lizards and good snorkeling.

The dinner service was a little spotty depending on if they had a cook. Lots of other options around though

The reception area was very messy with dogs mess on the floor
